Calorie density is the number of calories in a given weight of food, simply put it is calories in a pound of food. Did you know the average American consumes about 0.9 servings of whole grains daily? That is shocking! You learn about this and many other facts about calorie density and healthy choices during Jeff Novick's presentation "Calorie Density: How To Eat More, Weigh Less and Live Longer."
