Just started on this team but I'm looking at wk. 5 anyway. I've lost 4 # since my 5/8/12 intro. to the main site. I'll be weighing myself again on Tues 6/12 so I'll let you know how I'm progressing. I've been successful most of the time at not grazing in the late night hrs. I've been getting in anywhere from 2-4+ hrs. on strenuous work, lifting compost, soil, digging, weeding, etc. as well as elliptical, outside walking & weigh-lifting.

I just want everyone to know that I am really enjoying this team and the EFFORT it takes to prepare the weekly challenges.
They are fun and engaging.
And though I don't always do well, I like having them.

My goal, before they are over, is to get all the points one time!

I have lost 4 pounds, and I believe it could be said on my report card that "I am not working up to my potential!"

But if I am only down 10 pound by the end of summer, that is still down! emoticon

Progress so far -- although I'm not really calling in to the various challenges, so to speak, I have increased my activity and fitness, and am 3.5 pounds from my next goal. I've lost over 20 pounds since joining Spark, most of which has been since I started blogging and tracking my food on line and with the iPhone app. I have received excellent support from our team and from my other Spark pals, and hope that I'm giving back similar support. All in all, this is really working for me -- I don't think that I have 20 pounds to lose anymore, but am dialed in to the challenge, even if I'm not calling in!

You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometime, you just might find that you get what you need. -- Stones, claro

I agree we need to be thankful every time the scales moves down ward emoticon
It took me a while to accept this and i would beat my self up and cut my calories to see if that would help. until my spark friends educated me that a lose was a lose and be excited that the scales didn't move upwards. have a good week 6 we can do this. just remember

I'm still on day 2 of my challenge since I had 2 days of starvation to get ready for my colonoscopy. But on day 1, I did try a veggie I've had before with a different recipe and loved it. I have lost 4 lbs since I started the site on 5/8/2012, and I'm back to following my meal plans and adding more exercise. 20 more minutes today on front yard work & more after lunch since it is warmer today with a wonderful breeze.

(I won't count my other 4 # weight loss since it occurred when my colon was totally empty!!! Yuk-yuk for that cornball humor!!!)

I've lost 5 lbs. so far, had hoped for more. I started out strong in this Challenge, but the last couple of weeks have presented a lot of challenges on the work and home front, and I succumbed to poor eating choices for several days. I'm slowly getting back in the groove and making better choices, so hope the rest of the challenge goes more smoothly.
