This week’s word o’ the week comes from week 2’s challenge winner, 1CRAZYDOG. Stop by her page and say quick congratulations! She chose the word FLOWER because they are some of her favorite things to enjoy on a summery day.

We will once again be having a running-throughout-the-week challenge so you can earn plenty of BONUS POINTS!!! Taking care of your health means more than just eating the right foods. One of the things most often forgotten in the summer is to protect our skin from harmful UV rays. So this week,
take 5 points for each day you remember to wear sunscreen.

Join the weekly challenge anytime --- it's never too late to include our healthy daily challenges into your day!

All of the daily challenges can be accomplished on a different day if necessary (starting late, weather didn't cooperate, or life got in the way). Except the Sunday stroll would have to be adapted to just a stroll !

Love this weeks bonus challenge -- applying sunscreen! Be sure it is both UVA and UVB protective AND higher than SPF 30 -- preferrably 50. Our skin is our largest organ and does so much for us! Keep it healthy.

Oh, another tidbit -- DO get 10 minutes of sunshine in for the Vit. D. BEFORE applying the sunscreen. With the sunscreen, the skin doesn't absorb the rays to make Vit. D.

I'm in for another week. Tip of the day: I place a copy of the week's challenges by my computer for ease of reference.

This week’s word o’ the week comes from week 2’s challenge winner, 1CRAZYDOG. Stop by her page and say a quick congratulations! She chose the word FLOWERS because they are some of her favorite things to enjoy on a summery day.

We will once again be having a running-throughout-the-week challenge so you can earn plenty of BONUS POINTS!!! Taking care of your health means more than just eating the right foods. One of the things most often forgotten in the summer is to protect our skin from harmful UV rays. So this week, take 5 points for each day you remember to wear sunscreen.
