I'm starting late--but here goes!

This week’s word is courtesy of week 1 co-winner BRENNAGIRL. She chose the word
B-U-R-G-E-R-S because they are some of her favorite things to eat in the summer – healthy ones of course!
Before trying to be fit, burgers for me came directly from the dollar menu at McDonald’s. In honor of outgrowing that habit, this week’s challenge will also incorporate a WEEKLONG CHALLENGE!!! Which means you have lots of opportunity for BONUS POINTS!!! Take 5 points for each day you do not go out to eat.

Suddenly I have a lot on my plate - and I don't necessarily mean food. However, I will do as much as I can of this lovely "Burger" challenge. Especially the blogging - y'all know how I love the blogging homework. ;-)

Please clarify what you mean by go out to eat? in other words, do you mean purchase a full meal or anything bought outside the home?

I am attending a fundraising auction by the local lutheran church this evening and the local bakery donated pastries for sell. I will mostly likely purchase a coffee and A pastrie (just one). So does that count as eating out?

OK I love this challenge ....this is the first one I am doing. I am new and so didn't really catch on to challenges until now. I have read through the list for this week and planning my menu for the burger challenge and the rainbow salad ..... I started strength training thanks to this challenge ! Tomorrow my pool should be ready for swimming. A little frustrated because my rototiller isn't working and I wanted to get a nice garden going ...hopefully I can get it fixed soon ... worst case I can support the local farmers... but was looking forward to working in it and having fresh veggies and herbs. COME ON TEAM - LET'S RACK UP POINTS THIS WEEK ! We can do it !

Today I had no exercise planned and decided to do core strength exercises. It made my back hurt a little so had to stop a few minutes and then finish second set. I skipped breakfast today, just had coffee and water then had a big salad after workout with chicken.
__X__ Under the Great Blue Sky – Take at least a mile-long walk outside today and enjoy the sunshine. Went for a walk this evening about 8:00pm with my kids, 1 mile DONE.

Came home and did yoga while my son played on me.

B-U-R-G-E-R-S because they are some of her favorite things to eat in the summer – healthy ones of course!
Before trying to be fit, burgers for me came directly from the dollar menu at McDonald’s. In honor of outgrowing that habit, this week’s challenge will also incorporate a WEEKLONG CHALLENGE!!!
