You're so right, it's like you said X amount of miles is better than no miles! And I don't have anything to lose but weight, so I'm putting my best foot forward!

Well alright!!! Way to go kids, what a blessing to have your own set of encouragers...I've got some too!. And they are right.........set the goal and Strive for it....what's the worse thing that can happen.....You make half the goal? 3/4 of it? Of it kick the whole thing's butt!!! You have nothing to lose but some unwanted poundage, lol...Go for it!! :)

Okay I know we haven't started posting October goals, but I'm gonna make sure to keep myself in remembrance and accountable this month. MISS STAR aka Restored_ME has just about double-dog dared (lol) me to try to make 70 miles this month and when I told my kids, my oldest was like "Mom just STRIVE!" Okay, so I'm striving for 70 miles this month starting today!!!!

I hit my monthly goal of 75 miles yesterday and I am looking forward to finishing the month with at least 80 miles... WOO HOO!

So late but I've been averaging about 10-13 miles a week, mainly walking but some jogging in there M,W,and F, not to mention we're halfway through the month, but my goal is 45 miles this month.

Just to clarify... my 100 miles will mostly come from walking. lol... I am not up to jogging 100 miles in a month yet!!

If I had to breakdown the mileage between walking and jogging I would be around 25 miles of jogging and 75 miles of walking. I hope that's ok for the challenge.

I'm up for the challenge! I would like to shoot for 100 miles this month as I may need to decrease my walks next month because of an upcoming surgery. emoticon

Our local BGR group set a goal Sept to Dec of 120 miles. Since I'm training for a marathon, my long run mileage calls for 44.5 miles total. Sooooooo, I'll set my personal goal for the month at 75 miles.

Finished: Walt Disney World Marathon, January 13, 2013.
Finished: Disney Princess Half, February 2013
Finished: Orange Blossom Half and 5K, March 3, 2013
Finished: Divas Half, N Myrtle Beach, April 2013

In August, I set a personal mileage goal of 30 miles and crushed that goal by mid month. So, I increased it to 50, then 60 miles and I attained the goal. So, I am setting a challenging personal mileage goal for September... 70 miles. My BGR local group has set a goal of 100 miles and I am not sure that I can achieve 100, but I will shoot for 70. Who knows, I may double it like I did with my initial August goal.

Anyway, what's your personal mileage goal for September?
