I appreciate that Sassysax! Thanks for sharing with me. BTW- I didn't know how to fix chapter 17 code it put in accidently. I had to clip and paste from my e-mail than Open Office. My spouse didn't tell me how to turn off certain functions. It was doing things it shouldn't do, and I couldn't figure out how to correct it.

Playing my sax is how I connect with God. That gift is from God and I use it to Glorify His name. It's not bout me..it's all about HIM.

It's been harder not to worry when my mom is out of funds, and also we have to move by next year, maybe sooner. They raised ours 375.00 in a year and a half,

It twill be double when we leave after the remodel. The one bedroom apartments are more than our duplex of 34 years.

I KEEP praying.

I jotted this quote down while multi-tasking with the TV playing in the other room earlier this week, because it just 'struck' me. But now I cannot remember which program was on at the time, I think it was Kerry Shook.

Worry is a sign of not putting (keeping) God at the center of our life.
It's when we try to play God & control circumstances or people, that's what brings stress & worry.

Your thoughts and Stress

This one relates to ALL, if you read the book or NOT

The Mind Connection
by Joyce Meyer

Your Thoughts and Stress Pgs. 149-160

Oh boy, did you relate tot his certain chapter/ How often do we or others say, trust God. Except one of us is still feeling worried, fearful or stressed.

Most of us are aware of the multiple ways stress manifests itself. Our sleep patterns, head and stomach
aches, pain, certain sicknesses. One thing that Joyce said, got my attention. Instead of using our power to control situations and people, we should use it to control ourselves . In other words control our worry. How in the earth accomplish this? Reciting cliches doesn't seem to accomplish much. The more we strive, the more frustrating it gets. D you ever just try to ignore these things, or try so hard, you get more troubled and exhausted.

She has the nerve to also tell us, that we get ourselves bothered, upset and disturbed. Yes, Joyce points out, that what we may end up doing, is to think about something that is wrong continually . In doing so, we get caught in a loop. This is why our author states, that we end up repeating our troubles, which is reverse meditation. We may become distraught. Let's figure out how to calm down.

So How Do We Actually Do This :

1. Remind yourself that it's total waste of time and energy to remain upset.

2. Think about other things. Like good stuff.
3. Have lunch with a friend or take a break.
4. Eat a healthy snack
5. Listen to happy or comforting music
6. Do something for someone in need
7. Ask the Lord to reveal what you should do
8. Have a hear to heart talk with Jesus
9. 9. Change your schedule to have some margin in it
10. Take time to enjoy something. Don't be excessive about work
11. regular bedtime/ get at least 7 hours if possible
12. Don't try and keep everyone happy all the time at all cost to you
13. say no when you must.
14. Learn your individual tension tamers
15. Solitude Is Valuable and is so helpful
16. Make a list of struggles and pray through it.

Hey we are human beings, not human doings!
