Okay I am a tiny bit late loggin this in. I started the challenge at 231 and ended the year at 219 so, I was one pound shy of making my goal.

None the less I am proud of myself and of all of us.

Stayed the same at 215 I wanted to lose a little more but I guess I will have to be happy with where I am at going into the new year!!! THis was a great Challenge...

I more than met my goal a few weeks early, but I gained a bit, but still got to my goal on Christmas Eve. I know I gained over the holiday weekend, but I'll be working on losing more over this coming year.

Morning all my spark friends.
my 5% to lose is 12 lbs.
I started at 231 on 11/1.

11/1..231

That is a total of 10lbs gone so far. I need 2 more to hit my 5% goal but I need 22 lbs to hit under 200.

Hope everyone is doing well and lets keep it up. GO SPARKERS!!!!

I am on another challenge and they weigh on sat so I will do that here too...Unfortunately I am bloated and gained more back so I am at 200 again..:0(

I feel kinda bad about my weight loss this week, because I feel like it's cheating cause I don't think I ate enough... But, that is for a blog post, rather than here. Other than that, I met my goal already!

I will continue to try to lose throughout the holidays.

Yay for 1 pound losses and plateaus. Sometimes the body seems to just need a rest and some time between. 'doing the right thing' can mean changing up things a bit for awhile. Up/down seems to really work for me, but it does not KEEP massive losses going steadily. Change up seems to work to shake things up. But giving up doesn't help. Yay for us not giving up.

Go BREAKERS to BE and BEyond!

I had planned to lose 20 more pounds by year's end, just not sure if I can do it. I would love to be at least under 200 by Christmas which would be just over 5% off! This Challenge gives me a good solid goal to concentrate on.

Nov 4: NO LOSS, no gain, but I gotta get to breaking speed.
Nov 13: Finally one pound ddown!
Nov 18: no change
Nov 25: no change-- stuck again?

Nov 30: 6 Down in one week! BROKE that darned plateau with modified up/Down and good solid reduction of cals and increase of movement! emoticon 203


Dec 2: HIT 200!!! emoticon JUDDD (up/down plan) is working it's magic. Thank goodness.

YES DOING-IT4ME, that pain of a plateau got shattered. So happy to have gone there. I'm ready to break 200. Get rid of that one more pound to get me down that 5%.

Congrats to those who are losing! 1 pound at a time works!

I'd been stuck then binged, but no loss or gain for a bit. I needed to reestablish my commitment to this endeavor!

Got a better start over this weekend- whew. NIce to be clear of the junk and sugar monster.

Now to start a new week of better eating and moving even more. I want to get to ONEderland before the new year! This will keep me on track of 50 pounds off in 6 months and keep me moving toward the next 6 months.

Not my best week - crazy at work so much so it threw off my lunch schedule. Had two days this week when I didn't eat until between 2-3 then wasn't hungry for dinner which threw off my calorie intake and my son had long dress rehearsals for the play at school so I didn't get as many workouts in either - grateful to have lost anything!! Will have to step it up this week!

REDNBROWN - the important thing is that you're keeping a positive attitude and not letting it get you down! Trying to workout with a cast on can definitely have its issues. Keep plugging away and you'll be there in no time!

Well, not the greatest week - food has been on track and I have exercised the most this past week than what I have in the past 6 combined. Not making excuses but perhaps my TOM may have something to do with it. Anywho - only 12 days until I get my cast off and can start to try and walk again - woohoo! Friday's my normal weigh-in day - I was afraid if I weighed in when I posted the challenge that I'd end up forgetting periodically to weigh-in on the extra day so I'm sticking with Fridays :)

Hey!! I've been away from SP for a little over 6 months now....well, I've popped in a couple of times but.....anyway, I would love to participate in this challenge (and hopefully break 200 by my birthday at the end of March as well)!! This morning I weighed 242.4 which would make my goal 230.

I NEED THIS to get going... So my starting weight was
226 as of Oct 31 and my GOAL: 215 I think this is realistic although there is part of me who is wanting MORE lost by then

This seems like a great idea to keep me on track this holiday season.

Hey - Im in!
Been looking for a challenge leading up to these holidays so should be fun. HOWEVER - I have a broken leg so not sure how well I will do exercise wise. Good news is that I will be in a walking cast on Nov 22nd!!

OH boy after my Haunted Halloween, I'm up for this! I'm needing this. I had planned to lose 20 more pounds by year's end, just not sure if I can do it. I would love to be at least under 200 by Christmas which would be just over 5% off! This Challenge gives me a good solid goal to concentrate on.

Nov 4: NO LOSS, no gain, but I gotta get to breaking speed.
Nov 13: Finally one pound ddown!
Nov 18: no change
Nov 25: no change-- stuck again?

Who's up for a holiday weight loss challenge? The challenge - lose 5% of your current weight no later than Friday December 23. Weigh yourself this week and stick with that day of the week until the end of the challenge. You can use this format to record your progress (change the dates to match your weigh-in day):
