I am planning to use the data long range and track how the amount of sleep I get a night correlates (or not) to my bad eating habits. I am also trying to religiously track my food even if the final count at the end of the day is horrible. I want to figure out my patterns and weaknesses and then surgically eliminate them.

I totally agree the strength training in a PITA - half the stuff my trainer has me doing isn't even on their list. Argh. (btw, if choosing between buying diet food and paying for a trainer - I strongly recommend the trainer - I am now officially a convert)

water, fitness maps and cardio are the easiest to track.

Strength training is a bit of a pain. For instance I did the 20 min dumbbell video here on SP and you can add it to your fitness records, but it doesn't enter calories burned or even time on the bottom (it does reflect the time on the your overall time shown on the right hand side of the screen.) "Other goals" are a pain to track as well.

i find the water the easiest to track as it is pretty easily measured. I wish the cardio worked in steps instead of miles as I use a pedometer which gives total day mile but only ageaerobic steps. I think the food tracker is okay, although sometimes limited unless one has time to put in custom foods.

I am a fitness minute addict so I track exercise far more consistently than food. Though when I am tracking my food I tend to make better, whole food choices cause it's easier to enter. LOL Since I cook dinner most nights I use SparkRecipe all the darned time and sometimes it's a ....less than convenient.

I have such a hard time tracking the food and half the time I don't think I am doing it right. I can see why pre-packaged diet food is so popular.

honestly I find tracking to be a way for me to be held accountable I honestly think I have only missed 2 days of tracking since I started

We have to know that sometimes people will let us down. Caring about others and loving others takes risk and probably more than we have in us most of the time. But I think the more we put out there, we'll have something returned greater than we could have imagined.

I find water and cardio minutes to be the easiest to track.

I was religious about tracking my food for about 10 months, but then it suddenly got really time consuming and overwhelming, so I haven't been doing that lately.

I also find strength training to be more trouble than it's worth to track.

I'm Sue, and I won't let fear hold me back.

It's easy to track the amount of water I drink because I use a 24oz water bottle which makes it easier. emoticon emoticon
