Avoid stopping at the bakery this week! I LOVE REAL DOUGHNUTS!!!!!!!
Hopefully if I can keep them out of sight, they'll also be out of mind all week : )

Since I've been tracking with Spark People, I have really been able to reduce my craving for sweet things. The only problem is that I currently live with people and when thay are at the table always offering me sweet things or constantly eating sweet things in front of me, it is really hard for me to resist. If I don't see sweet things, I rarely think about them. Only a few more weeks and I'll have more control over what I eat and what I keep in the house..... emoticon

Have been and will continue to avoid any alcoholic drinks. I love my wine and scotch, so this is discipline with a capital 'D' : )
Avoiding wine and scotch means I will also avoid diminished willpower and therefore will be able to keep strong in the face of other culinary temptations : )

I'm avoiding the Big 3 this week: chocolate candy, pastry desserts (like cookies, cake & brownies), and ice cream. These are my biggest pitfalls that send me spiraling downward!

My new worst trigger - of all things - is Animal Crackers. The crunchy, slightly sweet, no frosting kind. Seemingly innocent - very little fat, only 120 calories per serving. BUT I can't seem to stay away from the pantry and taking "just a few" every time I go by - Adds up to way more than one serving by the end of the day. I have to not have any to keep away from them.

1. I will not eat York Peppermint Patties AT ALL!!!!! Once I start there is no stopping and it sets me up to crave sugar all day.

1. I will ration out daily raisins (50 raisins per day)

2. Stick to my dark chocolate (75-130 calories of it per day, only dark because it is lower in sugar)

3. I haven't been having any juice but love kombucha tea which seems like a good replacement.

4. When I have an attack of wanting some kind of bread/pastry type thing, I'll make my non-flour tropical pancake. http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-deta

5. Best replacement for a Sundae is cut up apples and bananas with a spoonful of almond butter and some sliced almonds on top. Sometimes I add blueberries and a half cup of almond milk to this and eat it like a bowl of cereal.
