SUZABELLA1967, I have to keep all sweets out of the house. I feel sweets are my last addiction to conquer. I don't have a problem with foods other than sweets as I read labels now. I have stocked up on nuts, fruits, and veggies to grab when the cravings hit.

Someone posted:
Before You Binge

Have an apple
Drink a glass of water
Fold a load of laundry
Call your BFF
Walk out the door and around the block
State your health goal out loud
Remember how it felt the last time
Wait for 15 minutes

It works for when your ready to grab sweets also!

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.

Mistakes are the portals of discovery.

Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

I struggle too. I noticed that when I have less or no sugar, I stop craving it all the time. It just is hard to stop having any at all, but it is worth it.

I LOVE sugar! Everything it touches is made so much sweeter.
I HATE sugar! Every teaspoon seems to equal a pound of fat.
Why must it be so cruel?
Yet I keep running back to it. When I am stressed, when I am sad, when I am tired.
I have seemed to have conquered my binging, however, I still give in on a regular basis, to some kind of sweet.
I do hope this challenge helps me deal better with my cravings.
I want to cut back, or even quit sugar for my health. To lose weight, and simply to be in charge of what I eat and when I eat it. I don't want my sugar addiction to control me! I want to be free!

Nothing ever changes if nothing ever changes.
