New-Caz you did great! emoticon
I really admire all of you who have mastered this nutrition discipline as a way of life.

My problem areas this week were typical--over on calories, fat, sodium (Really bad). Under on Calcium, and in everything I ate I'm seeing that I collected in the high end of range on carbs and lower end of ranges in protein.

This week was another reminder of how important it is to eat MOSTLY fruits and veggies. Everything adds up so fast!

I try to stay at the lower end of my calories and for the most part do pretty well. I need to do better tracking on the weekends. I'm still 10 lbs away from goal 1 and 20 lbs away for goal 2. I didn't track yesterday but will start today.

Ranges : Calories 1200-1550, Carbs 135-252, Fat 27-60, Protein 60-136

Tuesday 6/11 Calories 1360, Carbs 121, Fat 71, Protein 60
Wednesday 6/12 Calories 1006, Carbs 131, Fat 38, Protein 46

I'm going to use this challenge to help me stay within the 1400-1600 range. It should be lower to get to my weight loss goal, but I need to master this first before I can get to that. More to follow in a blog!!

Maintenance here too. My range as 1200-1300 calories, but I am usually right in the middle. Honestly, I don't track on SP, but have my diabetic ranges I stick with. I DO tend to mix up the calories. Keeps the metabolism revving.

But realistically for me, when I'm not as active, I eat @ the very low end of my range. When I'm very active, I generally hit the middle of the range or slightly above. I never reach the top though.

I was not very accountable. In fact, I had forgotten where it was I was to post, as I was a bit hasty and participated in several challenges on Spark and one on the WW site. I will work on making myself more accountable. I doubt if I will officially participate, knowing I am always off on something. However, this will give me more incentive to monitor and keep track of my behaviors.
Good luck and healthy eating to all!

Teresa

I am in....
I need to be more accountable for what I eat. I think my range for SP is too high as well. So I have adjusted just a bit.

I'm maintaining Bonnie, I allow myself 3 pounds either side of goal.
I keep in range most of the time for my nutritional goals too, although I tend to eat too much fibre at times.

I'm in with this challenge Bonnie, thanks for thinking it through and setting it emoticon

I am still working on losing weight and the Sparkrange seems too high, so I stay on the low end or under...Let's see how I do this week...

I am in maintenance. I am also on the disabled list still, in physical therapy, and just told I can start back in the water. I lowered my ranges since I can't exercise the way I was. In the last month I have put on about 4+ pounds. I have been eating at about 1350-1400 calories. I am going to go for the low end to lose the 4 pounds.

My ranges are calories 1,230 - 1,580 carbohydrates 138 - 257 fat 27 - 61 protein 60 - 138

6/9--I am 15 calories below my range and I am in range for all other nutrients.

Last week was concentrated on exercise. If you so desire, you can still post to the thread. I have left the sticky on. This week let's concentrate on staying in our nutritional ranges. It is important to reach and stay within the ranges set by SP. These ranges were set for you with your goals in mind. Where are you most comfortable in your range. Do you stick to the lower end, in the middle or eat at the high end? Do you mix it up or do you eat there all the time? It takes some experimenting to find just where you are comfortable. Once you find your niche, can you keep it there, should you keep it there? Are you suppose to "shake" things up? What do you do?
