Standing leg lifts 3 x more than yesterday. Flex bar 5 different exercises. Stress ball and steering wheel pinch- trying to strengthen my hands and wrists. 9700 steps.

I've upped my walk a little bit more to get in 30 minutes a day. Yesterday I did my regular route, but zig zagged the streets at the top where they divide with a cross street. I never thought I would look forward to walking! New habits do kick in!!

Have been out for my walk almost daily. Doing a mile around the community. Sunday I did only 15 mins. since I got caught in the rain! My husband came and picked me up ; ) Today I was out again in the bright sunshine and back again for a quick walk to the mailbox and back. Just finished my 6th cups of water. Holding off on the last two at supper time.

Twenty-five minutes walking today. It should take me 30 mins. but I've upped my pace and my stride. It's becoming a habit ; )

I'm doing pretty good with my walking. I actually get upset now when it's raining in the morning because it messes up my walking schedule! The other day it rained all day and was only clear long enough for me to get down to the mail box--about 5 minutes round trip and then it started up again! Yesterday I did the entire perimeter of the community which is over a mile. Took me about 18 minutes. I walk right along to get my heart rate up. Raining again today so not sure how far I'll get. Going to the library this morning which is my reward for getting up and out daily! I'd rather read than eat! If I lived alone I would probably weigh less ; )

Brisk walk around the community this afternoon. I clocked it at 8 10th's of a mile. Also walked around up at the air base about 10 minutes. My shins were killing me today. Not sure why. They did at first when I started walking again, but were getting better. Time to do some stretches.......

Didn't get in my walk yesterday. When we got back from the beach it was raining and I have to admit I was way too lazy later when it cleared up. Hope to get out today.

Got in a longer walk than expected. The mailman was still filling the boxes when I got there so I cut up one of the other streets and came back down around. Wow, am I out of shape!! Going to try to step it up tomorrow.

Taking a walk down to the mailbox and back. It's a pretty good starting walk. Just not ready for the perimeter of the community yet. So out of shape! I also did some walking in the store this morning. At least I'm up and walking!!

Went to Wal-mart this morning which means a lot of walking and then came home and took a brisk walk around the community. Was out about 10 minutes. A good start!
