There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And
maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

Happy Monday to you!

Your challenge today is to ONLY EAT HEALTHY FOODS. Steer clear of processed, junk foods. You know which ones:

*Regular Chips
*Candy Bars packed full of sugar & fat
*Cookies
*Ice Cream
*Full-Sugar Soda
*Deep Fried Foods
*Pastries, donuts, full-fat muffins
*Sugared cereals

Instead of eating these today, try to focus on healthy alternatives such as:

*Fresh Fruit
*Diet Soda
*High fiber & whole grains bread items
*Sorbet or fat/sugar-free frozen desserts
*Baked Lays
*Sugar free candy or gum
*High fiber, low sugar cereals (bran flakes, oatmeal, etc.)

"If you trim 100 calories per day, either by eating fewer calories or burning more, it should add up to a 10-pound loss at the end of a year. It's a simple mathematical formula; if you eat fewer calories than you burn, you will lose weight.

Let's do the math. A pound of fat equals 3,500 calories. Shaving 100 calories each day for 365 days is roughly 36,500 calories, equivalent to 10 pounds of pure fat. You could double your weight loss to 20 pounds in a year by trimming 100 calories from your diet and burning 100 extra calories each day."
