There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And
maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

3,667 I met my goal of 3,400 steps a day but barely. Just puttered around the house with my homemaker, got the blinds and curtains hung.

I love SparkPeople

Today is the first day of the rest of my life.

managed 4000 steps today as had dental surgery so not much else done.........

Strap on your pedometer -
We are going WALKING!
Your challenge today is to put on your pedometer (if you own one) and try to get in 10,000 steps.
If you don't have a pedometer, that is roughly a 5 mile walk.
This is a great way to burn off the extra calories we consumed over the week.
