Hello team, I haven't been on this form, but will come fall to help me be accountable.

I got serious about dieting last fall. Starting Oct. 15 - May, I lost 37 pounds!!! Since then I've been maintaining around 150#. Summer has been too disruptive with vacationing, family, and irregular eating that I took the time off losing and just maintain (which is hard to do so equally important).

A hint that worked for me: While losing I weighed in daily. If I followed my plan each morning I would see a loss in a few ounces. THESE are important! 4 - 5 ounces a day doesn't seem important. but it turns into a two pound loss a week! to 8 - 10 pounds a month!

We will be traveling (I'm a snowbird and we take road trips between our MN cabin and AZ home). I'll get settled for winter mid Sept. and will go back on losing ounces, for at least another 10 pounds which might be as low as I should achieve. That is when I WILL be showing weekly ounces loss on this forum... but for now I'll report maintaining...:) Jackie

PS I had both knees replaced in 1992 and 1994 and both are doing fine:)

Personal goal is to weigh in 159 by the end of May 2019. I did not make my previous goal so must do better...I ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF REACHING 151 IN MAY 2013. A LOSS OF 37 POUNDS! Summer of 2014 I gained 10 pounds of it back while traveling to the BVI's and Ireland so I have set a new goal for 2019 to be back to below 155.
