If you go to Articles & Videos, then Fitness, then Exercise Library on SparkPeople you can find a demo. I type burpee into Search to get there.

Actually, you can type burpee into the search box at the top of the page you are on right now and scroll down a bit. Click on burpee exercise demo.

I have my meals planned through Friday morning. I shop on Mondays and Fridays, so plan for the days in between. Life is SO much easier when I know what I will be making, and that I have everything I need.

I'm new to the team & just went back & looked @ all the challenges. These are the ones I've completed so far this month:
1- goal to exercise 6 days a week
2-20 minutes of cardio I have done this several times this month
3-eat a healthy breakfast. I do this almost daily
4-eat a healthy food you've never had before. I found a small farm market around the corner from my house & I made some soup with swiss chard & beet greens. I've never had either one before. I eat beets a lit but just found out you can eat the tops too. I also picked up kohlrabi which I haven't had before & I'm putting some in my salad for lunch today.
5-white food challenge so far I've had white peach asian pear banana garlic mushrooms onion potato white peach kohlrabi coconut I will add to the list as I try others
6-eat a peach
7-
8-something relaxing read a book the other day

13-eat a fruit or veg starting with f or g. Grapes green pepper

To get the point for today get up and do some kind of exercise every hour. This can be anything from doing a few jumping jacks , wall pushups , walking up and down stairs or any other thing ( those were just a few examples) Just make sure you are moving every hour.

Just a reminder to everyone if it says TO GET THE POINT FOR TODAY you have from the time I post the challenge to the end of the month to complete this. If it says THIS MONTH you can count it if you have done it from the 1st of the month until the end of the month. Also I have had this question asked more than once so I am sharing this same message on each team so if anyone else has the same questions and has not asked you will know. Also any other questions any one has please ask. I will try to help as much as possible.





If it says sit ups and you can not do sit ups NO you do not get the point for today , But as always i KNOW everyone can not or will not want to do every challenge , that is why I TRY to give you a variety each month and only ask that you complete 10 of them to get the spark goodie. I also know I repeat some challenges each month BUT I try each month to come up with two or three things we have not done before so if you have an idea of a challenge you would like to do PLEASE post it here or Spark mail me with your ideas I am always looking for new ideas to keep it interesting.

I shop at the big Asian market every couple of weeks, and I don't even know what half that stuff is. I have tried unknown greens, and they were OK.

Just like every month, I will be posting a new challenge every day. You do not have to do the challenge the day it is posted.On each Challenge I post do it "Today" you have from the time I post the challenge until the end of the month to complete it. On all the challenges I put "this month" on, you can go back and count it if you have done it earlier in the month.
