Wish I had read this before going to the store yesterday. I started out by buying stuff I did not like but then the family weighed in with chocolate choices that they like. We already know that since we live on a dead end street, we won't get many children today. Oh well, now it is down to will power. I also bought some nice healthy snacks for me - now to use those instead!

I don't plan on buying candy to hand out until the last minute and I'm going to buy something I don't care for. As for what my kids will get I think I'm only going to have them go down 2 streets in our neighborhood instead of all 5 to cut down on how much they get. I always eat too much of their candy. Happy Halloween!

Haven't bought any candy yet and don't plan on it! If my kids go get any they already know to leave it at their dad's house.

Planning ahead is SUPER key when holidays are coming up, particularly holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving that are so centered around food (and candy)!

So, how are YOU planning to deal with Halloween this year? Any changes in what you're giving out to the kiddies? (I personally always give my neighbors - since we live in an apartment with a locked security door so we don't get trick-or-treaters - a pack of Halloween coupons from Frisch's Big Boy for them to share with the kids in their life.) Any parties coming up you need strategies for? Are you dressing up?

Have a Spook/Sparktacular week!
