I went to the gym today, didn't do badly, I haven't lost ground through being out. But my essential iPod has died. Bless my husband, he loaned me his as soon as he found out, so I had something to listen to. I really don't enjoy exercise at all, but having my Sounds of the Sixties on makes it bearable. I've ordered a new one which will be arriving Sunday, I hope in time for our scheduled gym session.

And one of the reasons we went today was that I've very nearly crossed the finishing line with the novel. I'm quite pleased with it, I've not had to leave any big gaps to fill in later, the time line works out, and I've set up foreshadowing for the next couple of books too. There have been some surprises, like my villain who managed to escape the trap set for him yesterday, which means the good guys have had to follow him to London for the showdown instead of doing it yesterday, but I like the turn it's taken, it makes sense.

Hope you feel better soon Doreen. And awesome job in getting near your goal for NaNoWriMo! I am sure once you feel 100% better, you will get back into your regular routine :)

Since I've gotten back from Florida, I am really trying to stay focused! And so far so good. I got in a workout Wednesday and yesterday, and tonight I am going to try and get one in before getting ready to go out. Tomorrow morning I am going to the park to let me dog run around a bit, so I am thinking of also trying to get in a run too since I haven't gone running in the park in forever!

I've been writing every day since the first of November and am getting very near the NaNoWriMo target of 50k words. On the other hand I've not been to the gym for some time (not feeling well last week) and I've put on a pound. Have to start a new habit without stopping an old one.

So far so good! I went food shopping Monday night, and have been having breakfast and dinner at home, and bringing lunch with me to work!

Can't think of anything right now. I am going away to Florida next week so I know that's going to be a toughy, whatever habit I decide to choose.

I think right now, the habit will be to continue bringing in lunch to work. So when I get back from my vacation, I will do some food shopping so I can have healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner options!
