When I first read this, I saw the water challenge and thought "oh, what a breeze" - until I read the next bit that said no coffee, just water. Ugh-oh - not so easy. I usually get 3-4 cups of water each morning with my decaf coffee!! But, I pusehd on and got the 8 cups of regular water too! Good challenge team!

My challenge was fruits & veggies. I did OK but didn't meet MY goal of 8.

I made a big pot of vegetarian chili this mrng. And it was emoticon !! I ate 2 bowls of it, 1 with a crushed up taco shell. I figure I was about 2 servings of veggies behind on my goal.

I'm going to try again tomorrow. I really need to increase my 'veggie consumption'!

Well i got 7 plain water, and 5 cups of herb tea (its just hot water with herbs), and i got 7 fruit and 10 vegetables.

Great challenge! I should work on both!!!

1 ususally do 6 emoticon ... 8 will be a challenge!

I have in my lunch - 1 apple, 1 banana, 15 baby carrots and 2 tbsp cranberry sauce (homemade - see my recipe at : recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detai

) // to go with my light rye bread toast and 100gr NF Yogurt with 1/4 C All-Bran buds ...
Will have for dinner 1 side spinach salad, pasta with tomato sauce, 150 gr honeymelon (desert!).
I am not sure how you calculate one portion of fruit... banana = 1? and veggies? 1 C Spinach = 1? ... How am I doing?
