I am sure I do. My grandfather broke the law by committing suicide for starters. I'm sure my other grandfather broke a few "laws" while he was drinking. That is just for starters.

The two I know of, one was a prostatute. The other "terrorized England till he was arrested and sent to a unescapable island in Australia where he escaped and terrorizes Australia"

Yes my great grandmother was put in jail for 6 months because the state came in and removed the children they charge her and not my great grandfather for not providing for the family.

I haven't come across any criminals any yet. Just a few cases of feuding, name changing and divorce. emoticon

No, but my ancestors have one rather unsavory descendant.

In know I do. It is all how you see it. My great grandmother destroyed the tree she was working on because she didn't want anyone there was an unsavory person in our family. To me the story would be boring without some color.

Could You Have Criminal Ancestors? 20 Captivating Genealogy Sites to Help You Find Out

Many families have stories about the criminal behavior of one of their family members. Itís natural to not want to talk about or explore these events because they can make us feel embarrassed or even ashamed. But, you donít have to commit murder or make counterfeit money to be considered a criminal. Something as simple as littering can result in a fine and a personís name being entered into the criminal record books for all eternity.
