Wow ... beyond my capabilities at the moment, but something to add to my bucket list. How cool!

Riverboat Series
5 Days, 5 Marathons/Half Marathons, 5 States!
Saturday April 12 - Wednesday April 16, 2014

"Many of the ideas for our races were collected during marathons in discussions with fellow club members of the Maniacs and the 50 States.

"They rarely win, but you always see them out there running, and running and running. And sometimes walking. These events were inspired by and designed for them, and for those who just want to run long and often."

Read one runner's comment here:

In April, Mainly Marathons will be doing their first Riverboat Series. You would likely fly into Memphis and drive to western Kentucky. On Saturday run your course then drive to Western Tennessee. Sunday, run. Drive to Eastern Arkansas. Monday Run then drive to Westeren Mississippi. Tuesday, run then drive to Eastern Louisiana. Wednesday Run. Back to Memphis or maybe Jackson MS, and fly home.

I have done Dust Bowl (March 2013) and Center of the Nation (September 2013). Mainly mArathon is doing Dust Bowl again this year (TX, OK, KS, CO, NM).
