Today I tried to recreate a smoothie I had at a juice place. It had kale, banana, dates, cinnamon and coconut milk. It was good, but not great (like at the juice place). I'd been wanting to try putting cinnamon in my smoothies. It's really tasty, and so good for you!

My usual, everyday smoothie is kale, banana, pineapple, berry, ginger, and chia seeds. It's reliably good!

I signed up for that other challenge, thanks for the link. Getting recipes in my inbox will be motivating. I just started green smoothies for the first time a few days ago. I have no discipline when it comes to sticking to a recipe. I just keep throwing in things. Anyone have that problem?
I've learned that I like spinach much better than kale
to blend the greens first, then put in the fruit
vanilla makes a big difference. I have a lot more to learn.

I am not new to green smoothies, but haven't been as consistent with them since the summer. I saw this challenge and signed up. These girls send you a shopping list and recipes each week. The goal is to drink at least 1 green smoothie a day. So far, so good for me! Just thought I'd share! Here's to healthier eating/drinking in the new year!
