Green smoothies: 30 / 30 emoticon

Recently I tried arugula, romaine and some herbs (for example parsley) in my smoothies.
Also, this month I started using avocados!

I usually use spinach, romaine (sometimes Kale), cucumber, beet and beet juice, half an apple or pear, half frozen banana, some lemon juice and stevia. I find this green drink addicting. I make up a batch on Saturday & Sunday and freeze enough to take to work with me each day.

Hi! I'm new in the team, too. I used to make just fruit / berry smoothies, but this month I'm adding leafy greens / green veggies in the mix. So far I've tried kale, spinach, broccoli, celery and cucumber. I even dared to make one entirely green smoothie!

Knock, knock.... Anyone here? lol

Well today is 11/7 so that must mean that I've had 7/7 green smoothies for the month of November! Yum! I started back last month but I'm serious now and I no longer want to miss one single day. My food choices throughout the day just seem to better after drinking a smoothie. And what are the benefits of chia seeds again? I've been adding about 2 tbls and just saw that 1 tbls is about 70 cals.

Who else is doing this challenge?

I would love 2 things to happen for this challenge, just to make it a bit more interesting!

I have noticed that a lot of sparkers have been saying that they have strayed away from their smoothies (which we all know we love!) so aside from the basic challenge, I would love a blog once a week about your green smoothie experience! Even if its "decided to get back into green smoothies, my had *blank* in it. :)

The second it try to get at least one green smoothie a day. If that is a bit much for some people, maybe try getting smoothies in at least 5 days a week, once a day. I know this is something I am going to strive for!

when you get your smoothies in, and finally get a chance to sit at the computer for a few minutes (haha, barely for me) post a weekly update on how you did. The good, bad, or the ugly :P Also, I would love if you could share the link to the blog that includes the green smoothie mention so we all get to learn a little about each other. (I might even post a video blog every once in a while, oh my!)

Good luck to all, and I would like a starter post just to see all who is planning on participating! I know I am!!!!

So remember the 2 goals are:
Blog once a week, with a mention of green smoothies!
Post your weekly updates on how you're doing as well as a link to the blog if possible!
