It is an 8 week program but I have done week 5 twice. I just wasn't ready to move on yet. Next week I will move to week 6.

Today was elliptical 60 mins. I have found since I started running that I have to keep increasing the level on the ellipical to get my heart rate up.

That's great! I've seen a couple different programs. How many weeks is your program?

I am on week 5 of C25K. I know if I don't get my exercise in first thing in the am there is not another chance in the day. I am headed there now.

I missed my cardio yesterday and only did 15 mintues today...stayed up too late last night after the Super Bowl. I'll make up for it tomorrow.

Anyone else joining in?

Hi Christina!

I've been starting to run again. Last August, I injured my knee and haven't slowed down enough to let it heal. It finally feels good enough to get started again. I'm starting slow, running a few minutes at a time and increasing it gradually. Hopefully, I'll be ready to run in some 5k's this summer.

Got my exercise in both Thursday and today....strength training completed today as well!! Woohoo!

I am with ya ! I gained last year too. I am aready on the way back down. My goal is: I will be back to 185 by the end of Feb. I could use encouragement and accountability along the way.

I started out last year with challenges each week...then came February. I started a new job and put on 20 pounds! It's time to get things back under control, loose the excess weight and get healthy again!! Who's with me?

Starting today (or whenever you can...the sooner the better), commit to at least 10 minutes a day of cardio and at least 2 days of strength training per week. This is something we can all fit into our life. We'll do this for a couple weeks, then increase the time or add another healthy habit.

I'm always encouraged by your successes. Please post when you can so we can all celebrate and motivate each other.

Together, we can do this!!!
