Tracking is great the last 4 days

Life is happening now, not 10 pounds from now.

Thanks, I do take vitamin D plus the medication prescribed by my Dr. There is nothing left in the house and I swear i won't buy anymore. emoticon Those things are expensive, $3.50 for 3 on sale. As soon as I get my disability check and figure out my food budget I will plan my food menu. I have to start tracking again. That really helped me.

Bonnie I know how hard this is. I was truly addicted to 1 pint of Ben & Jerry's coffee ice cream. I even ate it while I lost 20 pounds and while I re-gained the 20 pounds. If I ate nothing all day- you can bet I ate that ice cream.

I did break the addiction, finally!
Never give up. Try only having 1/2 of one, and the a 4th of one and then none. Find other things that you like- I think that Zero yogurt (banana and vanilla) with a little redi whip on top. I make paleo brownies (google the recipe) without sweeteners of any kind. I eat only foods that are not processed. My taste buds are back and I won the battle! :o)

Be patient with yourself, sugar is addictive, you can do this!

As for depression I fight that as well. I take Tumeric capsules, kelp for thyroid, vitamin D, st johns wort. They do help

I know how important weighing, measuring and tracking your food is. i tracked my food everyday since I joined in 12/11 even when I reached goal in 12/12. This year has been tough and I left SP for several weeks until recently. I didn't exercise, I ate what I wanted to and I gained 10 pounds back after losing 122 pounds and maintaining for 2 years. I can't seem to get back in the groove. Magnum bars are my down fall and I swear every time they are gone I will not buy them again. Then I get depressed and the cravings get too much. I have to get this back under control. I did it once, I can do it again.

I am getting back to measuring and weighing again.

2016 I will hit the gym 6/7 days a week. I will eat more protein, fruits and veggies. I will really cut back on the carbs.

I use portion control. I use a small plate and put small portions on.
