Great Job Ladies ! You made it to the end of the Month ! Now what is the plan for Feb. There are only 28 days to deal with. We have been so blessed with a Jan. melting and Feb is a short month and if we can just make it out of March we are home free with winter !

I have been walking 20 minutes in the am and 20n in the afternoon. Foot still hursts, but I'm hoping stretches will help

I asked for the headlamp for Christmas, because it's a requirement on some group kayaking outings that I've started being a part of, and it turns out that it's an essential for some of the hiking groups I started with just now too emoticon

It's been really REALLY helpful to get together _with_ people. Not only am I safer, but I'm learning how to do things correctly, making friends, and just having fun (not: "oh, I have to exercise", but "i get to see [friends]...and...").

I used to be a loner in exercise, but connecting with people is helping SO much in starting over.

We each march to a different drummer ! Yesterday I tackled the kictchen and bath room floors. Why this morning it was warmer outside. Or something like that. I give up. I'm never again going to get down on my hands and knees to do the floors. Zoe Girl found some mud and you got it I has just finished cleaning the floors once again. This time it only took the vacume after the mud dried and then the wet mop swiffer ! But still the last time I did the floor was the day the pups got hamburger for dinner because the handle came off my pan !!!

Keep marching ladies, keep coming back and posting what you have been doing! Love the idea of walking in the dark with headlamps! Swimming sounds so inviting also. TGI's almost Friday !

I'm so much better than when I last posted, and swimming later that week helped. Today I just got back from a 2-hour hike (yup in the dark with headlamps) emoticon

You Gals Rock ! Everyone doing a little something to keep their bodies on the move !
keep up the great job that you are doing and I will see what I can add to the mix. Walked around the property and got snow off the edge of garage, backroom, and house roofs ! Now that took an hour ! Sorry that i wasn't able to join sooner just got my computer back in working order. I hate to say it, I didn't miss it one little bit.

I did 40 minutes on treadmill yesterday.
31 minutes today. I also plan to get some weights in while watching TV.

i think my 'tweaked' goal within this is to work *up to* 31 minutes for the 31 days. i shouldn't hurt myself more, eek.

so, today, i attempted to move a bit (back is still in pain but not the excruciating, can't move, can't stand, can't sit, of the other day) by using the treadmill at the Y. it was about 21 minutes.

tomorrow we have a hike planned, and hopefully i can do that...

After just spending the day today bedridden and in excruciating pain from my back.....well, we'll see how I can do with this challenge. Just walking today was too much. We'll see if I can on other days. Cross your fingers emoticon
