I'm sure high calories in drinks is a major issue for weight control and I'd much rather have those calories available for meals. Although it is something I can't get my husband to understand.

I drink Water, water and then a little more water. Fortunately I have never liked soda and now I do fresh fruit rather than juices. It's crazy when you order a juice at a restaurant, they serve you 12-14 ounces, way over the suggested serving. Unfortunately I do like beer, Corona is my favorite and rather high in calories. Happily I have discovered that I don't mind Bud Select 55, only 55 calories and less alcohol.

Slow but sure is the way to go.

I have been drinking different teas by the bucket and yes, it is making the scale move down.

I really enjoy Lipton Diet green tea. I've tried mixed berry and citrus and like them both. I like to have one bottle or cup every day. It can be purchased in the grocery store in bottles or in gallon jugs. I also drink water (mostly) but find I prefer the green tea to the diet soda. I do not feel the need to eat when I am drinking the water and tea.

I drink lots and lots of water. I use a 12-14 ounce mug and drink 8-10 mugs daily, with meds and between meals. Crystal Lite lemonade at dinner, herb teas, almond milk, and occasionally a cup of hot chai tea. Does seem to help limit the snacking, especially if I drink some water first, when I get the urge to snack.

I have 8 glasses of water daily and 1 cup of decaf. coffee. I also add in iced tea and crystal light. I do allow myself a caffeine free diet soda sometimes but no more than 1 per day.

Coffee with half & half and sweet n low...16 oz; crystal light, orange...16 oz; diet Pepsi..12 oz. Diet Pepsi sometimes calls for a popcorn snack...1 1/2 cups. Water with pills morning and night...8 oz total. = 64 oz fluids.
Sometimes I don't get all these down on the weekend.
I don't find that artificial sweetener makes me crave anything special (except popcorn!) contrary to diet mavens today.

I'm a big water drinker, and now that it is cold herbal hot teas. They have a great new one out, I think it's called christmas cookie sleigh ride, tastes like you have just eaten a christmas sugar cookie. Also love gingerbread spice herbal tea this time of year and cinnamon. I just use Truvia to sweeten them if I need to. The flavors really make me feel I am getting something special especially the new one. I LOVE it!!!

I drink mostly water and nonfat milk, but lately I've been drinking Kombucha. My daughter gave me a starter, and I make it myself. Eight ounces is only 35 calories, it's mildly carbonated, has not additives, and is purported to be very high in antioxidants. I drink it by itself as a snack, and it's very satisfying.

I drink mostly ice water these days and allow myself a diet Pepsi once or twice a week. It's my treat and I enjoy it when I have it, but it's starting not to taste as good any more so I'm drinking more water. When I get bored with the water I add in Crystal Light or Mio.

I'm working on my water today!! For me to get it down I use LOTS of ice! I'm not a fan of flavored water -- too fruity for me (did I mention I'm not a fan of fruit as well?? :( ) So plain water it is...I have pretty much kicked my diet pop addiction since last March after being diagnosed with an allergy to formaldehyde and Quarternium15. (when they took formaldehyde OUT of products years ago - they put Q15 IN!!!!) So alas allergy to both now! Anyway did you know that your liver converts aspartame into formaldehyde??!! Well obv. it does b/c that's why I had to 'kick the habit' or itch the rest of my life! (and perhaps worse?) I DO however allow myself a regular pop -- root beer (hate the regular coke and pepsi) one-two times a week.

I drink water with a low calorie water flavoring. I drink 80 oz a day and it does help me not to snack.

Drink water, tea, Crystal Light, Mio, coffee, coconut water... but stop the constant snacking.

That's the concept here. If you keep yummy drinks in hand in different tasty flavors, will it help?

It helps me!

What are you drinking? Is it helping? Got your water in today?
