I'm going crazy here this tww. I am letting my expectations get out of hand and I am worried I'm setting myself up for huge disappointment. Like I said in my last post, everything has seemed to come together great this month. On top of that, I've been having weird light cramping, lots of lotion-type cm and mild nausea. I'm only 6-7dpo, though, so I feel like I may just be imagining it all. I swear I just feel "different" this month.

Ugh! The waiting is just so hard. All of the build up just to end in disappointment yet again. Somehow I can't help but be hopeful anyway.

I hope you've all had a great holiday and fingers crossed for many BFPs soon!

I am out for November, but cautiously optimistic for December. I know I shouldn't get my hopes up, but everything seems to be going as well as possible for our chances this month. I had surgery a month ago (ovarian drilling, d&c and cleaned out polyps and adhesions) and started taking Clomid when I got my period. My mid-cycle ultrasound showed a follicle "perfect" for ovulation (my doctor's words) and that my uterine lining was nice and thick. Our timing has been good and I got a positive on my OPK followed by a good clear temperature shift. Is it too much to hope that this might finally be our chance after all we've been through? I hate getting my hopes up, but I really don't want to have to do the Lurpon shots for 3-6 months and after that my doctor said we might have to try IVF. Praying so hard that this will be our miracle.

Good luck to everyone who is in for November/December.

WARMSUNSHINE - I am so sorry to hear that you are out this month. My heart breaks for you because I know exactly what you are going through. I never thought that TTC could be so hard. I hope that you are able to find some comfort and focus as you take a "break" from trying and that you will get the BFP you've been hoping for soon!

It would seem I'm out.

Going to take the next few months to regroup. Planning not to temp and try so hard. It's just becoming too stressful and painful. We're not going to do any preventing, but I want to refocus on my weight and health goals for a while.

Good luck to those still in!

This our first month TTC. Its a bit overwhelming and more stressful than I thought, I must admit. It is exciting though and a lot of fun! emoticon AF is due at the beginning of December if my cycle is on track. I'm hoping for a lucky first-timers break! Good luck ladies! emoticon

Just posted a blog about how I've been feeling post miscarriage TTC again, and realized first that it has been a year since I posted a blog, and then that the title of that blog was "my first negative." So a year ago yesterday, I had my first BFN. It seems like so much more.

Sorry to hear you're out Malissa. Those long cycles can be so frustrating (and such a tease sometimes). I've had two unusual cycles and am now waiting to see if things are back to normal this month. I'm right in the middle of my cycle right now. If i don't see some clear indication of O, or if my cycle is not normal again, I'll buy some OPK strips to monitor next cycle more closely.

Wishing everyone well this month!

And after the oddest longest cycle, I'm out.

Well I'm out for this month. But at least I know where Day 1 is in my cycle, since things were so thrown off from my surgery. Gonna give it one more month before we start more aggressive treatment. I'm hoping many of you will have better luck and get some BFPs!

Don't know how I missed this..

5 DPO currently with good timing. Shall see if this is at least a more normal cycle for me.

Fingers crossed for everyone else in this month.

I'm in again, maybe the fourth month is the charm. I am going to try and use those ovulation predictor tests so I don't miss it.

I'm in this month. I was super active on this board before I became pregnant in May 2012. We tried for 3 years to get pregnant the first time. DH and I are really hoping my cycles return any day now, so we can start officially trying with some purpose. Right now, we're just hoping we catch the first egg (and let's be honest, that's always fun too:).

I'm still nursing our son, so I may not get AF back until he weans, but I've started to take the same herb regimen I was taking the last time I got pregnant (they are all safe to take while nursing). We struggled so much the first time around that I don't know what to prepare myself for this time. While I know weaning from breastfeeding would help the process along, I also don't want to discontinue such a special time between my son and I because I'm on some sort of schedule to get pregnant. Our past struggles make me realize we might not get to have another child, so I don't want to be "fast forwarding" for no reason.

Good luck everyone! For those who have been TTC for a while now, I know the holiday season can be especially hard. In my darkest infertility days, I found a lot of solace in this group as well as the infertility support group, RESOLVE. (I'm not affiliated with the group, I won't get any sort of compensation for the recommendation, I just go to the meetings.)

If hunger isn't the problem, then food isn't the solution!

Keep your diet clean and your workouts dirty!

It's good to hear from you again MRSDROP. It sounds like you've had a lot going on! I know how it feels to have your cycle out of whack. Mine got all messed up this month just due to stress I think. I'll be glad when it's back to normal, but I don't know how long that will take. I hope things work out for you soon!

Me too. It's been a month since my surgery. I had ovarian drilling and a d&c. My doctor said that not only did I have multiple cysts on my ovaries, but that my uterus was full of polyps and I have endometriosis with adhesions. So... it's been a lot to process.

Since the surgery I've had almost no idea where I'm at in my cycle. My period has actually always been regular despite the PCOS and endometriosis. So I finally got a positive on my OPK about a week ago and I'm hoping that we will either get a BFP or AF about November 11th. Obviously I'm praying for the first, but the second would at least give me a clear day 1.

We are going to try for about another month and see if just the cleaning up the cysts, polyps and adhesions alone will do the trick, but if not we are going to have to do Lurpon shots and won't even be able to try for 3-6 months. And after that we may still have to end up doing IVF. It all kind of breaks my heart. I'm still a bit in denial that this is actually all happening.

Sorry, for the long post. This has all be discovered within the last 5 weeks or so, so it's been a lot to process. I feel like I've been very absent on this forum because of that. Good luck to all the November hopefuls out there!
