It's a shame we can't combine our gifts. I can apparently get pregnant really easily -- I just can't keep the baby for more than 11 weeks. I imagine many of you having difficulty conceiving could carry a child just fine. If these were all teachable skills, we'd each be holding babies in our arms. (Sorry if this is too dark. It's that season)

After having a miscarriage in June (our first pregnancy). We started TTC this month - apparently we are good at that part - because I had a positive pregnancy test on Sunday. Fingers crossed, stars aligned, pray to God, this baby is healthy and will be full term.

My temp spiked this morning I'm assuming indicating O, but Hubby's been sick since Monday, so pretty sure it's a wasted cycle.

AF has come and pretty much gone...adding such a level of fun to my birthday and completing erasing any lingering hope that the spotting was implantation bleeding. I have no idea if my MD's office sends labs to like, Zimbabwe to be read, as still awaiting the prolactin, insulin, and a few other labs to rule out PCOS. Fun, fun.

That sounds like great news calminheart! It sounds like its been a long wait. I sure hope everything goes well this time!

AF is really dragging on for mr. I'm on CD 11 and still light bleeding/spotting. Has anyone had that happen before? It might be related to stress, but I'm not really sure what to think.

Following a miscarriage in February 2011, DH and I have been TTC ever since with no luck. I had been posting to this forum semi-regularly (under a different user name - SnarkyLemon), but have become less active as the successive months of negative results were making me want to not check in.

I finally had my first positive test since the miscarriage. I am trying to stay optimistic that I will keep this one!

Moonmason - I had similar spotting with this cycle, but I've had the same type of spotting with the two previous cycles also without a positive test result. The difference this time was the first time I saw the spotting it was the bright red.

Just last Thursday, the day after the bright red spotting, I had breakfast with a dear friend and she convinced me it was time to seek fertility assistance. I planned to call on Friday, but DH wasn't able to verify his schedule, so delayed plans until today. I assumed that by Monday, I would start my next cycle. Signs of spotting disappeared, and since I had a test with an use by date of next month, my DH convinced me that I should just go ahead and use it before making the call ... turns out I don't need to call the fertility center, after all, just my OB/GYN.

Here's hoping I can keep the news to myself until after at least the first pre-natal visit.

Good luck to all those TTC and October hopefuls!

Hi everyone,

I'm still hopeful this month too. Day 9 of my cycle right now.

Susanna - so good to hear from you! I can' believe you're postpartum already. What a happy story! Good luck with everything else though.

Moommanson - sorry about the disappointment. I had a weird cycle too. AF came on CD 25, then lasted for 8 or 9 days.

I don't have a lot of time to write right now, but good luck everyone!

Oh, I wish I knew. It is possible it is implantation.

I know feeling out of control and not knowing is awful. I'm so sorry.

I don't know what is wrong with me!! 10DPO right now, I think and day 3 of spotting..

TMI ahead...

Day 1, dark clots, dark blood on tissue, scant, evening.
Day 2, morning, nothing. Last night, bright red on tissue, clots.
Day 3, still nothing on pad. Pink/red when wiping, but not every time. Nothing on pad all 3 days.

Trying to have faint belief of implantation, but, yeah, perhaps may POAS in the morning. So sick of feeling out of control of my body.

Help? Counsel?

Glad I didn't bother to post earlier. Pretty sure I just had myself a 23 day cycle. Waiting for lab results but otherwise pretty sure never going to have a baby without costly medical intervention and pretty sure going to say to hell with it and go back on birth control just to feel 'normal' again.

Woohoo for "positive" (meaning what you wanted) result! And yay for two-packs =0) It is nuts how hormones mess with us.

I took the test last night and it was negative. Hard to tell about if it's been "long" enough because I'm breastfeeding and *likely* not ovulating anyway, but I just had to test. I feel better now, but if I have doubts again later, well, it was a two-pack of tests!

Unhoping for you! I remember when I first started birth control, I had weird symptoms due to adjusting to the hormones, so here is hoping that is what you are facing. Has it been long enough to test so you'll know?

Hi everyone,
This might not be the exact right place, but I've been on here before and there are still some familiar "hopefuls", so I decided to post here.
I'm ten weeks postpartum, got the Depo-shot a few weeks ago (for the first time, I was on pills before), and waited the amount of time before it was supposed to take effect, but now I'm feeling like I did when I was early-pregnant last year. I'm extra-hungry, but I attribute that to breastfeeding. What I'm really noticing is a low-grade nausea and not thinking food sounds or smells good (until I eat it, and then I'm fine). I love my baby and we want a second, but had NO plans for its being so soon! I'm still recovering and we don't have the money to expand our family again.
So, it's completely counter-intuitive to the thread, but I guess I'm an un-hopeful. It would put us in such a hard place, though I loved being pregnant, and love being a mom. I'm picking up a test today.

Hi! I'm your newest member. I'm hoping that my husband and I will get lucky this month and have a positive test result. We've been trying for a few months and I have been able to track my ovulation thanks to OTK's. So ... fingers crossed!!!

Trying again, maybe the third month will be the charm! Decided to get the ovulation predictor kits since historically, my cycles were irregular.
