Just found out yesterday that I'm preggers!!!!! No symptoms yet... Except having to pee a lot. Anyone on BabyFit??

I'm thinking of dueling. I joined the sept due date club... But I do really prefer sparkpeople's trackers and community.

Plus I want to stay connected because I am determined to stay healthy throughout this pregnancy (not gain 60lbs like with my first). I never lost the first baby weight, so I know its important that I be as healthy as I can be this time around.

Congrats Jennifer!! I'm so excited for you!

I've been super-tired for the past couple of months. So I haven't made it on Spark at all. We have our first appointment in about 2 weeks (I freaked out a bit because I'll be at 13 weeks by then and still haven't seen a doctor). So far everything seems to be going ok. I have had lots of nausea (which seems to be getting better) and fatigue (although I've also been doing overtime since I got pregnant).

I hope everything goes well for you!

I was assuming I'd give them myself until nurse seemed to indicate that I couldn't -- I'd actually prefer that, though. I love and trust my husband, but didn't really anticipate that he'd give me injections!

Jennifer- I had to give myself lovenox shots up until about week 14. The first couple shots were hard but once you get used to it it's really not that bad. I figured that I needed to learn to give them to myself just in case hubbs wasn't around and I needed to do it. I bruised myself quite frequently so I would suggest moving around to different spots. Maybe do a different side each time. And I invested in a big box of alcohol wipes. I'll bet you'll be on the progesterone until the end of the first tri. At that point the placenta takes over and you won't need it unless there's something else going on. Good luck!! It's hard to do shots to yourself but I would always think of the end result and just do it as quick as possible!

I am a temp tracker -- never did the OPK tests. Tracking temps helped me know an awful lot about my cycle. I recommend it.

Looks like I get to take both an oral and an injectable dose of progesterone. I go to doc today for the first shot, and hubby gets to learn how to "shoot" me. Anyone else had to do this? I must say I'm a bit nervous about my husband giving me shots. He tends to be a perfectionist, which might lead to being overly cautious (and therefore overly painful) in these first weeks! But nurse said the shot goes into my hip, so I can't give them to myself. Oh well, I'll at least get to call him a pain in my butt for the next however many months (she didn't say if I'll be on the supplements my entire pregnancy?) I think she said my level looked okay, they just want to boost it to make sure. I must say, this pregnancy with my bucket of pills—and now shots!—is considerably different than just taking the prenatals.

Get hCG tested again tomorrow to make sure it is going up like it should.

Congrats Jennifer!! I hope that everything works out for you this time and you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.

AUTUMN - You can track your temps or monitor your cervical mucus to help know when you're ovulating. Maybe some of the others here can help point you to some resources to learn how.

Congratulations to losingforbaby! Hope you have a healthy pregnancy.

I had my period, unfortunately. Or I think I did, it was much lighter than I remember it being when I was younger before I had the IUDs. And it only lasted several days instead of at least a week. Not sure what to think about that. I went out and bought a few ovulation kits to tell when I am ovulating as I am not sure. I think I ovulated earlier in the month, but my husband was sick and/or I was working late those weeks. Maybe next month...

Any ideas how to tell when you are ovulating other than using the kits?

Congrats, Jennifer!! Hoping that this is your sticky baby! I know how hard it is to be pregnant after a MC, but please try to enjoy it and not freak out too much about everything... I know first hand that's had to do, but I hope you are able to relax and have a great pregnancy!

I broke down and tested early this afternoon -- BFP!

I'm nervous. My symptoms are not the same as they were with my pregnancy in March. I feel like I'm cramping quite a bit -- and it feels like more, but maybe I'm just not remembering well since I had the long miscarriage process after. My birthday is Friday and hubby's is next week. Baby is due two days before our anniversary . . . Praying the vitamin cocktail I'm taking for the MTHFR does what it is supposed to . . .

My body is teasing me. Yesterday temp was back near the coverline, today it spiked .5 degrees higher to put me at the top of the temps on my chart. I'm 12 dpo, thought I'd take a test and then noticed I had a little bit of brown spotting, so decided not to, assuming my period was starting. Since then (hour and a half ago), I've had nothing. Now wishing I had taken the test. Just wish I knew what my body is doing. It doesn't usually behave like this.

I'm 10 dpo today and temp went back up (had a drop yesterday -- above coverline, but made me assume I'd be under today). Guess I'm still in. I'll test on Sunday or Monday if temp stays up (only Sunday if there is a spike). I don't feel like I did when I was pregnant before, but I also don't feel like I usually do with AF (even post miscarriage), so who knows what is going on with my body now.

So I've been temping since the bleeding stopped after my D&C, and they've been all over the place until this week. They were finally my normal lows, and I finally had a temp spike! I know it's a little thing to get excited over, but anything that looks normal on my chart is making me smile. CM also seemed like O, so here's hoping I'm in the 2WW. This is the first time I'll be just as happy for a normal AF as a BFP :-)

Abby- I'm so sorry to hear that your surgery got postponed. Especially so last minute! I hope you get good news soon!

Jennifer- it took so long for my body to get back to normal and I kept thinking that ovulating later than normal was my new normal but then the month I got pregnant everything really was as it was pre-pregnancy. I think that was my 5th cycle after my d&c. Good luck to you! The waiting is so hard emotionally!

I am hoping to see good news from all of you ladies soon! You all deserve to have great pregnancies and healthy babies soon!!

Wow, that's just a bummer Abby!! I'm a doctor myself (vet) and we never get to call out. I suppose that if the doctor was truly that sick, you wouldn't want them to operate, but since I'm a freak about surgery on myself, I would be so upset. (Go figure when I anesthetize pets everyday, right?).

Well, I went in for surgery today. I got admitted, went through all the questions, changed into my gown and was about to get hooked up for IVs when the doctor called in sick. So I guess we'll be rescheduling for sometime in the next couple weeks.

It's really hard to have all the nerves and anxiety build up, to cancel all my plans and get someone to cover at work (I'm a teacher) all for it to be cancelled. I just have to concentrate on the end result and try not to stress to much between now and the rescheduled date.

*Sigh* It's been a long day.

It seemed to take forever for my period to come after miscarriage -- but I didn't have a D&C. Even now my cycle isn't like it had been. My temps finally seem to be evening out instead of jumping all over the place (it seemed to be up-down-up-down for awhile). Makes me wonder if our bodies grieve, too.

Went to the OB/GYN today for my 4 week follow-up post miscarriage and D&C. Still no AF after 4 weeks, he said to call in 10 days if I still didn't have one (but to take a preg test first). Temps have been weird - sitting right between where my normal high and normal lows are. It's so strange to have no idea what your body is doing....

...totally out. Woke up so wonderfully at 3:30 feeling hot, 4:44 with cramps that could take down a man, took some Advil, and begrudgingly got back out of bed at 5:54 sweating like a you know what on Sunday. Yay.

This week is further proof that I'm not good at the two week wait. 6dpo now and I'm finding myself comparing everything I'm feeling with my last pregnancy. I've been convinced from my crazy emotions and sleepiness that I am pregnant, and then convinced by my lack of sore breasts that I am not (according to my fertilityfriend chart, that started 6dpo last time). And I fully realize that all of the above is crazy. I've been eating too much the last couple of days, so making a diligent effort to track everything today. My food choices will likely not be the best (I had pizza for breakfast and will be eating out for lunch -- although I already have a plan for that!). I adjusted my weight loss goals to be a little slower so that my calorie range went up a bit.

The last few days I've been dying for caffeine. Just really craving soda -- which tends to only happen when I'm wanting comfort.

I think it is tougher this round because my last cycle was longer than normal and this cycle I ovulated early, so I have no idea when to expect AF.

Just sending plenty of baby dust to all of you. I have really been getting the baby itch lately, but I know I'm not physically where I need to be yet. So I'm hoping that we will start trying in December. Hope to see some BFPs soon!

Pretty sure looking at my symptoms and diagnostic criteria, I might actually have PCOS. Going to schedule my annual well visit physical at my primary and she's going to run the blood tests that could prove or disprove that theory. If I don't then I don't know what else is wrong.

I'm apparently three days past O (which did come early). After having nearly identical charts after going off birth control, it is annoying to have no idea what my cycle is doing now that I'm post-miscarriage. Would have thought that the two cycles we had to wait were enough to get me back to normal, but not the case. I have no idea when to expect my period, so guess I will go on symptoms for if I should test this month or not . . .

I'm supposedly a day or two from ovulation, but my temperature spiked today. Not sure what that is all about. Temp was at the same place 3 days ago, but it is a temp that is usually above the coverline for me. Guess we'll see over the next few days. My last cycle was longer than usual, so I wonder if my body is still being goofy. Last cycle I ovulated at the same time I did before my miscarriage, so I expected that this time, too.

Don't know why but this cycle has been so emotionally in turmoil it's beyond me. In the 2WW yet again. It'd be nice if it's two weeks!

Went to the clinic today for poison something which has spread all over my legs. Got put on steroids, so have to avoid making a baby for the next 10 days. Maybe I'll get lucky and O will take its time getting here. Temps have been erratic since my miscarriage, so I guess it's wait and see.

PS- I also go caffeine happy during AF and the few days before O :-)

I think for me it is more a sign for hubby than anything, since it isn't like he remembers where I am in my cycle. I've been mostly off caffeine since before my last pregnancy. And while I bought Mountain Dew, it isn't like I'm sitting and chugging the cans. I'm not much of an alcohol drinker. I probably average a drink a month -- occasionally more if we open a bottle of wine -- then I drink it two days in a row (whoa, I know). I don't imagine the sushi or wine will actually happen in the next few days . . . I am cleaning the litter box today before hubby has to for at least two weeks (that is one job I'm happy to pass off).

Haha losingforbaby, I do stuff like that when AF comes (like four cups of coffee in the morning sometimes if I'm feeling really sorry for myself.) Then the week before O I get all serious about eating really healthy and taking vitamins regularly. The truth is, I think any of that stuff is okay, if you only have a little, and only occasionally. I do like to try and get in a couple hard workouts the week before O though. After that, I'm afraid to work out too hard.

I'm glad to hear you got some answers and have a plan MRSDROP. I don't have experience with PCOS but I've heard that once you know about it, you can do the right things and have a successful BFP.

Anyone else do all the things (okay, not ALL the things) you can't do while pregnant the week before O? Today I bought Diet Mountain Dew (Code Red) and told hubby we either need to get wine or go to a Mexican restaurant in the next few days (for a margarita). Also thinking about planning a sushi day . . . And then if I don't get pregnant this month, will plan to do it all again in a few weeks (which will be my birthday) . . .

Well, the new doctor took one look at my ultrasounds from six months ago and says I have PCOS. I have a laproscopic surgery and d&c scheduled for a week and a half from now. She said of the 5 people she has done this with lately, 4 got pregnant the very next month.

I am super nervous/scared but also feeling hopeful. It is nice to feel like we are at least headed in the right direction. Hopefully? Anyone else been through this?

That's great you're feeling optimistic MRSDROP. I think that's one of the most important things during all this TTC. And its tough after so long. I know ive had my moments where my optimism was pretty much gone. I hope everything goes well with RE. FX!

And good luck moommanson and everyone else!

Getting pretty nervous/excited for our appointment with the new OB/GYN tomorrow. I hope she will really listen and help us figure out why we can't seem to get pregnant. I haven't felt this hopeful and optimistic for quite a while!

Picked a new OBGYN. Not sure if I want to pay for a full office visit out of pocket or wait until my annual in January...*sigh*.

But hey, would know early in this month, should be O'ing any day now.

Good luck all.

I'm back in this month. Still waiting for the spotting to stop after my miscarriage/d&c. Really glad we don't have to wait to keep trying. It took 8 cycles to get a bfp the first time. Hoping for our baby to keep this time. Good luck everyone :-)

I am trying though feeling discouraged after telling my mom, who cautioned me to watch my weight if I get pregnant and said if I lost just 20 lbs it would be better. I know she is right but I am already well aware of my weight (and found out I was pre-diabetic after we decided to start trying) and don't need the reminder. Then I felt guilty that I haven't exercised this week very much due to all the new furniture in the living room so at almost 10:30 tonight, the doggy and I went on a short walk, blah...

Good luck to everyone else!!!!

I'm in for September, although not exactly hopeful. We have been TTC since June of 2012 and nothing has happened. We have been talking to a doctor since December 2012 and have had DH tested as well as some basic bloodwork and an HSG. I was also on Clomid and then Letrozole for about 6 months.

We finally go referred to a fertility clinic, but they can't get us in until the end of November emoticon I really haven't felt like my current doctor and I communicate well, and I feel like there are a lot of other things they could test for without going to the fertility clinic, so DH and I are going to a new OB/GYN Thursday. I really hope she can give us some new insight and work on figuring stuff out. I really don't want to waste another 3 months until we can be seen by the fertility clinic.

2DPO today, so I guess technically in the TWW. Good luck to all the September hopefuls!
