Thanks. I had a sudden drop this past Thursday -- I think I finally stopped retaining. I've been tracking everything and eating within range this last week -- despite some really emotional days, so I'm feeling good about that!

Okay, so this has been a pretty busy week for me. I started grad school yesterday and had a doctors appointment to discuss a few things. I walked away happy and relieved from my doctors appointment which was a pleasant surprise. Anyway, on to the weight!

Ugh, this has been a stressful week to say the least. Sorry, I am only getting around to posting now but I did weigh in on Wednesday and I am at 199. Woohoo! I'll take it!

As for your post, how exciting and nerve-wracking that you are going to start ttc again. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you. You have a great outlook and if you ever need to vent or scream or cry...I'm here for you :)

Husband and I talked yesterday and we are going to start trying again this month. Which means I am pushing harder! Granted, I have been for several days. Saw 187 on the scale yesterday. Sodium pushed that back up to 188 today, but I am pushing the water today and monitoring the sodium I take in. Tomorrow is weigh in for my 5% group, hoping that 187 shows again!

Really hoping to be at my first goal (186) by early this coming week.

I will admit here that I am scared. After the pain of our miscarriage, this is still a bit frightening. Last time I was worried that I would do something (not eat the right things, consume something "bad" that I didn't realize was bad, etc) that would end the pregnancy. I'm less worried about that now, but realizing that things within my own blood can end pregnancies. While I'm being treated for MTHFR and that should no longer be a factor, I keep thinking "what if there is something else?" I didn't go and get tested for everything, I had this one doctor-recommended test.

Guess you always exchange one set of worries for another, eh? I realize it doesn't help to worry about things out of my control, but letting go is far easier said than done. Trying to focus where I can—on my health. Here's to continuing to take steps forward . . .

Uh, I hate mosquitoes. I think the yellow jacket stings saved me from the mosquitoes this weekend (I sort of laughed thinking that if a mosquito bit me, they might just die from the yellow jacket venom!)

And yes, the stings were awful, but the steroids doc but me on yesterday are working wonders. My arms look much better today (back looks about the same, but those stings had not become quite so swollen and awful-looking) and I seem to be a bit less itchy. So I'm hoping I'll look human again in another few days!

Oh my goodness! Over 30 yellow jacket stings sounds horrible! I'm glad you're doing better.

I got bit over 20 times by mosquitoes yesterday :( I am beyond itchy. I took Benadryl last night and it kept them from swelling up too bad but it's uncomfortable to say the least.

I did a lot of strenuous yard work yesterday (thus the bites). I've been staying on track with my eating habits and have been doing the yard work instead of my usually work out but it seems to be ok. I'm looking forward to weighing in and posting tomorrow :)

It is quiet over here. How are you all (and I'm saying all, as others who have not posted were interested) doing?

I was off the grid over the weekend and spent yesterday recovering from some pretty severe yellow jacket stings (I was stung over 30 times).

On a positive note, my weight seems to be heading back in the right direction, so I should be able to post a decent loss tomorrow!

With the pain and itching, I have not done much exercise, but trying to really concentrate on eating in my range. Aiming for the midpoint now, as I think the low end was causing me to plateau. Here's hoping!

Starting another 30-day challenge tomorrow! We'll weigh in weekly (because of starting tomorrow, the dates will read Wednesday, ending on a Thursday—you are welcome to weigh whatever day you choose) and check in for encouragement, venting, celebrating, etc. throughout the 30 days!
