Today was another fruit shake day! Had 3/4 cup non-fat milk, 1/2 an apple, 2 large strawberries, 1/2 a banana, and a couple of kale leaves blended with plenty of ice. It was delicious!

Wow 11 lbs! amazing progress! congrats!

I had my leftovers this morning. 1/2 a turkey burger on a wheat bun and a bowl of mixed fruit. Had a late night last night and hit up harbor house with my bf the food was excellent! They have added a lot of healthy items to their menu and i had a great cup of pepermint tea! Yum!

I actually had breakfast today :O
Plain bagel with a 2 tablespoons of cream cheese and Coffee. Unfortunatelly that didnt give me any energy to last from 7-4pm at work. I need to start packing my lunch... running after them todlers is exhausting! :)

I'm with you on the Greek Yogurt not tasting so great, but our Costco in south county sells the Fage nonfat greek yogurt with a fruit jam that you can mix it--that helps SOOO much.

I'm grading at Starbucks today, and I just had one of those SnackFulls kid snacks (string cheese, apple slices, raisins and animal crackers) plus a grande skinny vanilla latte:

270 calories for the snackfull
130 calories for the latte

Not a bad way to start a week after a rough weekend!

I'm kind of addicted to those Premier Protein shakes they sell at Costco. I had one of those (160 calories--30 g protein) and greek yogurt. I'm normally not a breakfast eater, so this kind of breakfast lets me eat quick and fills me up for a few hours.

My breakfast was delicious today!
I had Some Eggo Low Fat Nutrigrain waffles with I cant believe its not butter Spray and a Fage 2% Greek Yogurt with Honey.

I need more protein in my diet so I am trying to work in the Greek Yogurt but I am still not a HUGE fan of the Greek yogurt but its just so much better for you than the other yogurts.

I am still trying to get used to breakfast.. Yesterday I had some cheerios with a banana. =)

Today I skipped it, but ate an egg torta for lunch. I thought it would be alot but heck.. it was like 500calories so I am still good for the day so far.

Here's a fun fact I learned on the DR's today. Strawberries are natural teeth whiteners! If you want to use them to whiten add 1 strawberry to 1 tsp baking soda or 2/2 3/3 etc for however much you need- make it into a paste and spread it on your teeth with a toothbrush- let it sit for 5 mins then rinse! What a yummy way to whiten! I wanna try this!

Strawberry Facts
Part of the rose family, strawberries are a favorite fruit among both children and adults. Strawberries are one of the only fruit where the seeds are found on the outside as opposed to the inside (like a peach or apple).

Strawberries were grown in the wild for centuries in the U.S. and Europe. Today they’re produced throughout the world including Canada, France, Australia, Italy, Japan, New Zealand and the U.S. Peak season in the U.S. runs from April through September.

Nutrition Info
Eight fresh strawberries contain only 50 calories and 3 grams of soluble fiber. So subway sandwich shops in the area have a coupon right now, but one 6" get another free but only from the time they open until 9AM. So if you're out and about in the morning why not stop by and grab a breakfast and a lunch sub! these are great to eat and my doctor recommended subway! so it's dr. recommended! lol they have a veggie sandwich you can get on wheat and it's only like 210 or 230 calories but very filling!

So thomas' now make bagel thins. They're only 110 calories each! They're great for making a quick sandwich or a filling snack! They also make 100 calorie english muffins and they taste just like the originals! Yum!

So I very much enjoy having fruit smoothies for breakfast. ou can take your time drinking them so they really fill you up! All you need is about 1/2-1 cup low-fat or 2% milk, a banana, and any other kind of fruit you like. Just add a handful of ice to that in a blender and bam! Breakfast in a glass. Very handy for those of us on the move in the morning doing housework.
