Thank you. I would like to do Zumba again. Might be able to when I get my breath back if they quit raising the gas prices. They started a couple weeks ago since it "is summer now."

my exercise is 2-3 days of Zumba, sometimes at night and usually on Sat. mornings, by the time I get home I don't check my BS, when I do check my BS during the day it is always within the 70-100 range, where it should be.it is normally on the days that I don't exercise.

My fasting before were always 120 on meds or just diet controlled. Never a change. That seemed to have been my normal. Now they are in the 150s no matter what I do. I thought maybe if I started walking I could get them down again which is why I was wondering about the timing. When I did that the other day it made no difference.

Last night I went on a webinar on essential oils and diabetes. They told of different oils to use to help with calming, anti-inflammatory, blood sugar control, etc. I have a couple of them (though a different company) and thought I would try them. Some of the background they gave on the current drugs and what they have for main ingredient was interesting.

emoticon BIGPOPPAPUFF, my readings in the mornings when I first get up were in the 100-120 range, ever since I was sick in Jan. with a sinus infection my FBS readings are in the 120-140 readings, not sure why, maybe because I still have sinus issues

Just wondering when people exercise in comparison to when they eat and when they test. I got out of control the past year and am now eating lower carb again, but when I test it is still high. I was wondering if you exercise soon after eating and before testing or before eating and testing or what. Just want to do what I need to get my BG back down. I get bad side effects from drugs. Also, since they have told me they have cancelled my medical assistance, I have absolutely NO money to pay for prescriptions and cannot pay all my bills because disability doesn't cover that. Reason they say they are cancelling medical assistance is because I'm on disability instead of working outside the house, which I can't do at this point.

Also wondering if the test keeps saying the same amount whether you have eaten or not, could that be needing a new battery? I changed the strips because the ones I had were outdated.
