Gosh, it is a whole month later. Still trying Keto?

The thing is that there is a cross over point. The first 2 days are not do bad as you have stored carbs for about that long. Then it gets tough for about 3 days as you run out of all carbs and "hit the wall" and have yo burn fat, either what you eat, or what you have on your body.

But after 5 days your body chemistry is substantially changed and it gets easier.

Me! Well, ideally. Been reading about Keto since hmmm.... November of last year and have tried it a few times this year but have not been able to stick with it for more than a few days. I'm a serious carb addict, and going Keto has been so flippin' hard! However, every day that I DO manage to stay true to this way of life, my BS #s are lower, I'm less bloated and I am less achy, so I do believe it works. Starting over TODAY and aiming for less than 20 grams of total carbs per day. My husband is not diabetic, and he will be eating this way as well.

I eat exactly that way. I suggest the team "Team Keto!", a very active and supportive group.

I eat just enough protein, as low in carbs as I can go and still have a reasonable variety, and I don't give dietary fat a thought.

Today I ate:
Two egg omelette with Tex mex cheese melted in, and coffee with cream.

Lunch was a double patty burger from Wendy's, but bunless, they serve it in a plastic tray, and s diet coke.

Supper was a big salad, with cold roast beef cut in cubes, and ranch dressing.

A great way of eating to manage type-2 diabetes better.
