I take an apple cider vinegar tablet (1 not the recommended 2) at bedtime, and it does seem to help with my FBS, I also tried the recipe for sinus and I couldn't do that much cayenne, but by the time I figured it was too much pepper, my sinus was fixed.... so maybe it did work

Thank you for your responses. I was asking for blood sugar control but forgot to mention that. After reading all, I researched and found the drawbacks for vinegar is just as you said. Stomach issues because of the acidity plus it can ruin the enamel on your teeth. Thank you again.

I heard that too, it's suppose to be amazing! It bothered my throat, even with it diluted in water. It would be way to harsh for me without water, my daughter takes it that way? Suppose it's better to take it with water than not at all, if it's the only way you can take it? I tried the Cayenne and I can't do it either.

A friend's co-worker told me that it will help with just about anything and she takes it every day. I don't know if she was a regular type doctor or a psychiatrist like my friend is now. She suggested it for my IBS. Problem is it burns my gut.

The mix with honey and Cayenne pepper helps a lot with coughing and sinuses. The chiropractor that told me about it didn't add water, though. I have been trying to remember it, but I think it was equal parts vinegar and honey and something like 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne. That would probably be a bit strong on the Cayenne for most people though. Just took it by a teaspoon at a time.

I never took it for weight loss, but tried for blood sugar. Just couldn't handle the stomach issues.

Hi, I just had to get in on the apple cider vinegar conversation! My daughter takes it every morning and swears by it, she takes it with water, honey, Cheyenne pepper, maybe lemon too. You know the kind you should get is the Bragg, Organic, raw-unfiltered, with the 'mother'. I know you should start slow. You should read up on it on the web, do some research. I took it for a short time, started with 1/4 tsp and lemon in morning and I didn't feel as hungry?

Most of the studies were done on lab rats, not people. I did read about one study done with 11 people. That's not a large enough study to prove anything.

There are no magic weight loss cures.

It's hard to swallow. No results at all. My mom who was 80 at the time when I tried it told me that this apple cider vinegar thing was around when she was in her 20's trying to lose weight for her wedding. She had no weight loss either.
