Hi When do you test after breakfast ? Right after eating or do you wait the recommended 2 hours ?
I drink coffee all day with just cream and my numbers are fine.

I am new to the diabetic lifestyle (Type 2). I have been tracking my sugars after breakfast. I have noticed that my sugar is higher than it should be even though I stayed way under my carb level for that meal. It's not super high, 225 being the highest. I've been doing some research on coffee and it's effect on blood sugar. I have read that it can have a slight effect on sugar levels. Does anyone know about this and can you share what you know with me?

Thank you.
