I take Glip-forman. Ask your doc about that prescription.

I have been seeing all those ads how things help with your BS, then they start listing all the side effects and I don't trust taking any of them now. I was on Metformin, but I just kept getting the runs worse and worse and was taken off that. I tried it again one time and got the runs right away again. I know I need to do something and go low carb, but I just can't seem to stick with that. I'm not familiar with what they have given you now other than I personally cannot take statins.

When I was first diagnosed, I was started on Metformin. Initially, I had a bit of nausea, but my body acclimated. The major focus I had to have was dedicating time daily to ME for proper nutrition and exercise. Meds do nothing without proper nutrition and proper exercise. It's like a 3-legged stool . . . . if one leg is missing, you're off balance. So do your best to really evaluate how you are doing w/your nutrition and exercise.

Good luck!

Love is the root of all things good in life.

He uped my meds to janument xr 100/1000mg (huge blue pill)" & "prevastatin (Pravachol)40mg to combat colesteral Scared to start taking both. The only meds ever use is Tylenol once a yr! Take children's gummy vitamins. Waiting a wk before I jump in! Any experience with these meds? Side effects?
