Thank you...Yes I have a lot of work left to do. Getting the good reading made my motivation just go up 100 times!! I'm ready for full lifestyle change...slowly of course. I know me and my habits and if I go into something full on, I get burned out easily. So slow and steady will win!

Well, congratulations on reaching an A1C of 6.2 All I can tell you is this . . . you are a champion, but don't neglect the lifestyle work that still needs to be pursued, because that's the ONLY way you avoid the side affects! That being said, I realize I'm stating the obvious to you and wish you all the very best as you continue on. I am so proud of the work you've done!! You know we're right with you!

Love is the root of all things good in life.

I just got my A1C results back. My levels have been... 12.4 → 8.2 → 11.4 → 7.4 and now....6.2!! I'm so happy I could burst! All the trials of different meds have finally worked. Sad to say I haven't changed my lifestyle much, but that's slowly changing for the better. This has given me hope and motivation that I can do this (even though I really know it's the meds). I fee like a champion. I'm not longer in danger of all the side effects of diabetes. I know I'm not out of the woods by any means...but I got this. emoticon

Sorry..I just had to put this out there!! I'm happy as a lark! emoticon
