I'm working the 10 minute #Moveit challenge. as well as trying to increase my total monthly minutes by 10%. The weather is nice and the yard work is plentiful. That should be easy enough.

All of you goddesses are a 10 in one way or another. For the next month, we would like to celebrate your status as a 10 with a "by the 10's Challenge. "

There are a few ways to participate.

emoticon Take a look at your fitness minutes for April. In May increase that by 10 percent.

emoticon Take a look at your daily step count. Increase your steps by just 10 percent.

emoticon Or join the short challenges. This first one is easy. 10 minutes per day (at least) of concentrated exercise for the next 10 days. Follow the link to join the challenge. It begins on May the 4th.

There will be a new link posted at the end of the 10 days with a new "10's" instruction.


What counts as a fitness minute?

A fitness minute is one minute of any type of activity related to exercise. This can include steps, cardio, strength training, high-intensity activity, stretching, sports, and even heavy housework (if it's not your regular daily pick up routine) and other "practical" activities (like gardening) that require exertion.

Let us know if you are participating and with which method you chose for yourself. Please check in regularly with an update on your progress!
