Goals: run 3 times per week -
*Galloway group run on Saturdays which is training for Lakeland Half Marathon Nov 8 and OUC HM on Dec 6
*one run per week to include speed work in prep for 3 (maybe more) upcoming 5Ks: Watermelon Series on July 26 and August 23, Faster with FitNiche 5K on Sept 6th; high school track workout on Monday eves is good
*one easy fun run per week, often with friends or family (perhaps a little hill training should be included here??)
*most weeks I'll do one elliptical workout with running-level heart rate plus two lower intensity workouts of walking, cycling, swimming, WATP, or zumba
*strength training - currently it is hit and miss; need to decide on a program to commit to

I haven't been totaling my miles, but maybe I should. Right now I'm doing 11-20 miles per week, but my group runs will be getting longer.

End of July last year was when I started my emoticon training. I really need to get out there more, but I just hate running in the emoticon and it seems to have been non stop in SE WI lately.

I have 2.5 miles racked up this month on two runs, only had 15 minutes each time, but it's better than nothing.

How I long to get back to whipping out a 5K three times a week! Must work on getting up earlier! emoticon

July 04: 6.02 miles
July 07: 5.82 miles

Total for July = 17.65 miles
