My goal was to run my first 1/2 today and I did! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Yes my IT band flared up after mile 6 but I took walk breaks and got over the line w/ an average 12:39 pace. About 15 minutes longer than I had hoped,but if the IT didn't flare up, I'm sure we would have done it!

Now I'll taper..

I will be happy with running any mileage!!!

Things I've done to heal this body....

1) Reduced intensity
2) Removed extra inserts from running shoes
3) Reduced volume

Now I have been running without any pain or irritations for a week.
