We seem so similar in our reactions!
I did not change my ticker to reflect my new weight for two weeks. Then finally, the third week, I tought I would change it in an attempt to motivate me!
I am doing much better this week, but still really well. Six weeks till Christmas! I still can't believe it!

Ok, six weeks to Christmas can you believe it. Soon enough we will start thinking about the presents !!!

back to the weight loss game... This week went bad
I did weigh myself on Friday but I didn't like what I saw. The Family lunch I had the week before and the amount of leftovers took me back... I am not changing my ticker and I am not commenting on the number on a attempt to forget...

I punished myself by eating too much and now I punish myself by eating a lot less

Obesity is a punishment and I don't seem to escape it....

As Anna said I have to be careful every single time. I let my guard down and weight creeps back on...

Six weeks to Christmas. Let's enjoy it...

Aggelikh, it is amazing to me what stress does to us. We keep trying for weeks and weeks, and with one stressful event we throw all this effort in the garbage and then start again.
This past week of stress eating and the pounds it added to me proved to me that I am nowhere near the stage where this has become a way of life. I still very much have to do it deliberately every single day, every single meal. And I do not know if it will ever become second nature or if I will have to watch it/ track for life!
At least, we have the tools and the motivation to do it!

Let's go!

Oh God....
Haven't tracked for three days (because of a family gathering at my place on Sunday).
I had 18 people and literally worked for 2 days ahead of that.
I haven't paid any attention on my calorie intake. I probably ate 10.000 calories on Sunday because of the accumulated stress and the amount of work (cleaning, house work) on Sunday evening. I don't expect to have loose anything by Friday but at least I am back on track since yesterday.

Hello!
I live in Massachusetts, and we had a really bad snow storm one week ago. Because the trees still ahd leaves on them, the branches were really heavy with the snow, so many trees fell, and broke all kinds of cables. We had no electricity for one week, which also means no heating or hot water! Fortunately a good friend of ours had electricity, so we stayed with them.

Telos pantwn, for one week I did not exercise at all, and I regressed to the most horrible stress eating!
So I am resetting my goal to 150 lb by the end of the year, as it seems like I gained 3-4 lbs in one week!!!!

Aggelikh, one day off plan is fine- I usually do that as part of my plan! So as long as you are going in the right direction, you are good!

I had a horrible horrible day yesterday (the first day I didn't track because of lack of time and energy/willpower...) anyway I ended up weighing myself today didn't loose much but I am going on the right direction....

5.11.2011 - 104.1 kg
30.10.2011 - 104.5 kg


Ok, 7 weeks to christmas now. Lets see if I'll be able to reach 99.9?

Ok, 11 days of straight tracking.
I am not at all happy about my average calorie consumption but you have to know what you are doing wrong to fix it (eventually...)

Ok, 8 days of straight tracking. I am not so happy about my average calorie consumption but that is not the point of this challenge. The point is accountability so I'll stick to just that.
Really hope those 8 days become 63+ (another 8 weeks)

Ok I promised a Friday weigh in so here it is:

1- 28.10.20011- 104.5 kg (little different than my ticker but I am not changing it!)

Let's see now what will happen in the next 8 weeks

Totally forgot to weigh myself yesterday (and today!), so instead of a Wednesday weigh in I'll make it a friday weigh in.
That will take me just before Christmas!!!
Lets see, Just 8 weeks to go.
Will I be able to get rid of that 4-5 kilos and go from 104.2 to a 99.9???

finished third day of tracking. I was a little relaxed calorie wise today. Couldn't help it, I had an awful day (I have many bad days)
I must remember. ALWAYS TRACK (and nothing more) it will make me more accountable....

anyway

9 weeks to christmas. It seems so close!

While I had been tracking religiously till about AUgust, the last month I have not been very good about it. I have not gained, but not lost either.
That's a great idea, Aggelikh, let's prepare for the Christmas fagopoti!
I like your goal, tracking is the main way for me to stay accountable

Can we make this challenge a Christmas Challenge?

We have 9 weeks till Christmas (yes time flies…) and before its New Years again and we make New Year resolutions let’s take advantage of this last period.

Do you know what I would like to achieve? To track (not necessarily be careful) my calories every day. So I would like this to be my challenge for the next 9 weeks. Sounds easy? Not for me…. I am lousy even at admitting how much I have eaten every day….

So Tracking every day for me and I’ll add Wednesday weigh ins as an extra bonus. Lets see….

Now that summer ended, it feels that it is harder to remain active.
I would like to keep myself acountable by setting goals, and invite my fellow Greeks to join in.

October 1st Wt: 155 lbs (70.5 kg)
Goal weight by December 31st 145 lbs (66 kg)
Goal exercise: at least 2 hours per week
