I keep meaning to post a blog. I will let you know when I get it done. Currently talking to another doctor. You would think they would read medical records before responding. It is a little frustrating.

That is frustrating!

We had similar problems with a nephew who lived with us; although he did do some things for us.

He was taking advantage of my good nature in letting me do all his laundry. I was helping with niece's laundry, and doing my sister's laundry at the time. I had to set aside time to speak to him, telling him I could no longer do his laundry due to illness--same for sis. Niece just needed temporary help.

He started doing his laundry, but would bust into my loads, and throw my wet clean clothes aside. Hence, another talk. I told him to let me know when he was going down to the basement to do a load so that I could process my own load.

He needed a lot of life coaching from me, including the time I realized he was burning incense in the wooden window wells near the fabric drapes!! That was a kind talk about life experience and fire, wood, and material don't mix. He is a sensitive gentleman. My mom would of just kicked my butt and called me stupid! emoticon

Are u okay? I didn't know u were in the hospital!

Bucket: figuring out a way to teach granddaughter some responsibility without causing her to shut down or think she has been awful. She is almost 21 and still displays some autistic behaviors in that she does not recognize others needs. I actually paid her seven dollars to clean the kitchen when I got home from the hospital. She washed some of my dishes and then filled the sink with her dirty dishes and left them. So the next day, I washed my own dishes except the ones she she left in the sink and asked her to wash the dishes. I do have a teacher voice so she knows not to cross me. However, she washed all of her dishes and left the ones of mine from the paid night. Last night I told her to set the timer for 15 minutes and clean the kitchen sink. There were still the four parts to my juicer in it. She got that clean but did not fix the rug or move her own clothes out of the dryer which were also on the to do list. I can't lift more than five pounds and am suppose to be taking it easy and I am running out of clothes. So my frustration at being ignored yet again. I can't imagine it took her 15 minutes to wash 4 dishes. She is a very intelligent woman attending PSU and taking 17 credits this term. Now to figure out a kind way to approach her when what I really want to do is be passive aggressive. I do not charge rent while she is in college.

Chuck it: Passive aggressive attitude.

Bucket: while I may have chucked doing actual gardening, I am enjoying going to the local mom and pop gardening store where got great help for having our gardener plant a butterfly bush and milkweed.

So many more different varieties of butterflies and birds in the backyard!

I am delighted!

I still pull some weeds each time I take the pooch for a yard walk. That way the weeds get pulled little by little.

Bucket. Clearing out more stuff! Makes my surroundings more pleasant

Looking forward to going to the gardens.

Looking forward to walking around the hood with my phone and fanny pack. So sad to hear selma blair has MS, but she was rockin' her cane on the red carpet!! She had it specially made adorned with a pink diamond!

People sometimes act weird when u use a cane. I am going to use my cane while walking!

I had a wonderful revitalization. I headed south from my house to drop off granddaughter and then just kept going that way. Drove in a monsoon. I turned south again at Tillamook and it didn't feel right, so turned around and headed North. I went up the coast to get to Astoria. The weather on Saturday was a balmy sweater day. Buds and I hiked several little trail. We even drove out on the beach at the mouth of the Columbia River. On the way home we took the Ferry across the Columbia too. That is always a magical ride.

Chuck it: gardening, except for simple items like brushing leaves off sidewalk and picking up branches.

Have fun, Cathy!

Immediate Bucket.

Been yearning for the beach. All packed and Buddy got in the car too. He is going. Heading out in a few. Need to wash dishes before I leave. Just a few. No idea where I am going. Think I will head south from Astoria and see where I end up. Plan to be home Sunday evening.

My bucket list:

Go on another Alaskan cruise to the inside passage.

Go to the hemlock lodge in the mountains for an overnight stay and hit the catfish buffet!

Go to the gardens

Swim every chance I get!

Chuck it: go on any trip which is too long or I would have to walk too much.

Love this. I might just try this with another team too.

Chuck it for me:
Snow skiing, although I chucked that years ago at one time I wanted to try it.
Water skiing, Son bought a Seadoo and it has tremendous potential that will probably tempt me, but old bones don't bend so easily, so should chuck it even if the heart yearns.
Australia: At this point in time, I still want to go, but not sure the 24 hour plane ride is worth it.

Bucket alternatives:
I could go to Mount Hood with the grandkids and watch them snowboard. That would be fun.
Ditto on the water skiing. I might even drive the boat.
Rewatch all the movies and documentaires and reread all my favorite Australia books.

Current Bucket:
5K in April
Cruise in June

I saw this online and thought it was a good idea. I need to "chuck" certain ideas of what I wanted to do before coming ill, and focus on the good stuff I can still do, hence, the bucket!

www.healthline.com/health/ms-resolut
io
ns-keep-or-throw-out2019

Quoted in part:

"At the end of the year itís natural to take stock of what weíve accomplished and whatís left to do. When it comes to living with MS, itís hard not to look back at the past and assess the damage.

It can be harder still to look hopefully at an uncertain future. One where many of us are only daring enough to quietly ask the universe that we just donít get worse.

When we do find ourselves ballsy enough to ask for more, we might be motivated by the feeling of running out of time. Bucket list items pile up with the pressure to do all the things that require strength and vitality ďwhile we still can.Ē

You donít need a bossy list to remind you of your unmet potential. Thatís what parents are for.

If you have a chronic illness like multiple sclerosis, Iím here to sift through some of the most popular resolutions, to figure out which ones are worth the bucket list and which ones you can put on the chuck-it list.

And if you donít like it, thatís cool. Having MS should be an automatic pass on all the BS things you never wanted to do anyway."

Learn to Meditate
Drink More Water
Start Flossing....examples of bucket items....

I think this article helps cope with all different types of fatigue causes.

What is your bucket or chuck it list?
