Maybe too much talk about the goodness squatting brings, but she does tell how to adapt the squat at the end of her video. The only thing she doesn't do is talk about how to get back up if you aren't strong enough to get back up.

Even just hiking back and forth across the shallow end of the pool offers weight resistant and is easy on the joints. I usually like to get it somewhere between the chest and shoulders and then I have to fight for balance too.

I did leg lifts on my back, sides, and stomach in my bed. I have no excuse to not do at least some of my PT during a flare.

I pooped out after four minutes, and I couldn't combine arms and legs, but I kept jiggling something in tune to the music for 13 minutes. Good aerobics for a rainy indoor day.

I do a lot of my exercises in bed, too. I've started working with the Paul Eugene videos off the side of my bed or on the foldout in the den. They are fun chair exercise videos.

My sis bought one and loves it. I do many of my exercises on the bed. It is easier to get out of bed if I stretch and wiggle everything first.

Yes, be careful. You know your own body best! I will skip certain exercises or modify it if necessary.

I am so happy to be back at the PT place, as they have a large flat table that I use as if I am on the floor! I can't get on and off the floor anyway, but can still do the exercises. I am tempted to buy one of those tables to put in the garage.

I haven't done this in awhile and my back is telling me, but I usually do about five minutes of stretching before I get out of bed in the morning. It is another time to sneak in small increments of exercise w/o setting of the CFS.

Jenni, January and February are hardest for me too. I think too much sugar and wheat through the holidays, combined with stress and very little daylight or dry weather in our area creates a CFS loop for me. I am now toying with the idea of becoming a snowbird. Wondering if more vitamin D would help although I do take supplements.

Here is an exercise for right now:
Sit up straight, place your hands on your belly and breath deep 5x. Then wiggle for 5 seconds kind of like a dog shaking off water.

Thanks for resurrecting this thread! I'm going to check it out when I'm more able to function. I've had a bad CFS relapse in January and still unable to exercise, but my goal for July is to get back to some form of movement.

This is actually a good thread and I forgot about it. Need to post some other vids and exercises.

Something I do when watching videos that have ads. Instead of deleting them, I do arm circles and stretches. That way the poster can earn their two cents, the advertiser has advertised and I can get the blood circulating again. It is win win.

More seated workouts! This one is perfect for me and very gentle on my back. In fact my back feels better now that I am done. Also it is very easy to adapt to your stamina and fitness level.
