I also wear a pedometer. I have been getting my steps by 6 or 7 pm!! The average american only takes like 6000 steps a day, so every extra step counts!!!

Wal-mart has some inexpensive pedometers that are alright. Don't get the cheapest ones as they don't always work right (lesson learned the hard way!!). You can get a decent one for about $6.

I am a Done Girl and I am a Sultry and Stylin' Shade Seekers!

You bet it counts. Every step you take is important. I where a pedometer everyday and try to get at least 10,000 steps a day. It really has helped me. I hope your back gets better soon, and be careful.

At the moment I am limited at the amount of activity because I recently had back surgery. This morning I tripped over the dog and that has set me back at least a week. Maybe it will be better tomorrow though. I did go to Walmart and walk around more than necessary.Does that count? emoticon

Don't beat yourself up and don't starve yourself the rest of the day. You will only think of food if you think you can't eat anything else. Just eat regular the rest of the day. Yes you will be over on calories but tomorrow you will be back eating normal. We all over indulge on a meal once in awhile and that's OK. Do go for a walk and look at some beautiful fall colors or something to get your mind off food. Eat a healthy lunch and be sure to drink your water.

Find something to do to get your mind off of it. Work on a craft, or go for a walk or something. That's what usually works best for me!

Please help. My husband and I went out to breakfast and I ate over half my calories for the day. Now that I am down that far I have the munchies. I was fine before I put in the food but now that I know I have very little left my brain is saying it wants food. It has only been 2 hours since I ate a big breakfast so I couldn't possibly be hungry.
