Realizing how "unfit" I am. For example, running up the stairs chasing my dog I realized I was out of breath. That was a wake up call. I knew that I was overweight, I knew that I looked fat, but it just wasn't ENOUGH to really push me. I want to be active and ride my bike with my husband, heck I ran a half marathon over a year ago and I all of the sudden became this blob of inactivity! I do care about how I look and the number on the scale, but what I care most about is being able to live life.

So I guess envisioning doing activities with loved ones motivates me the most!

I look at the pictures of me from when I lost all this weight before. It reminds me that it IS possible for me to look normal and healthy. I all ready KNOW I can do this.

That really helps. That and reading about the scary things that happen to a body that's overweight and knowing I'm having problems with almost all of them. I mean, I was literally killing myself! No more!

This might sound a little strange, but my biggest motivator is remembering how much I've accomplished in other areas of my life. Sometimes I feel as if I'm hopeless at losing weight and keeping it off. I really helps me to focus on accomplishments in other areas of my life to remind myself that I CAN do this!
