Congratulations on all of your progress! I am 8 pounds down, with 13 more to go. I wish it was more, but I have to say that my fitness level has definitely improved, so I couldn't be happier!

Wow, we're in Week 11 already?

Great accomplishments - not just with weight loss, but with life management. I've got a few things I still want to work on. I've made a lot of progress, but I was hoping to feel more organized and have more of a schedule by now. I think I was thinking that I'd have more energy by now and these things would take care of themselves, but alas there is still no extra time in the day - I need to use the time I have more wisely. lol.

Feeling happy and energetic.

Congratulations on your progress - You are really accomplishing some great things, not just the weight loss, though that in itself is AWESOME!

You are an inspiration - not just in your successes, but in your struggles -

Well here we go into week 11...You know, I was reading last night that studies have shown it takes 6 weeks to make a new habit. I know it take a lot longer to control a food addiction, but....what have I been doing for 6 weeks? I've been walking for 6 weeks now. I've been going to bed and getting up at decent times for 6 weeks now....I wish I could say I'm taking regular good care of myself and my home. It made me think....Maybe I should have a daily schedule to follow. It might help me to see that right NOW I should be straightening the house, and in an hour I can play some games... I have so much on my plate and not enough time, but then...I look back on my days and see I've spent a lot of time not really doing anything.

And the 30 pounds I've feels very unreal. As I'm approaching my first major goal (as you can all see from my ticker) and 1/4th of my weight lost I'm not feeling like "I've DONE THIS!" It feels more like I'm making an attempt and by sheer luck it's working. I'm not sure how to help myself OWN this. I know I've made big changes, and I'm doing really good and it's my work paying off, heart doesn't seem to believe that. It's more like "Oh look, I happen to have lost 30 pounds." Maybe because I know how easily that can go back on (and HAS gone back on in the past). I think it's maybe time for some exercises. Time to heft some bags of flour and think about how much weight that is. Time to consider the number of fitness minutes and the miles walked. Time to choose a reward for my first major milestone coming up.

I prefer to be true to myself, even at the hazard of incurring the ridicule of others, rather than to be false, and to incur my own abhorrence. (F. Douglass)
