February is a short month, but hopefully we can all make great strides this coming month as well. Habit changes seem to take a while so even when we mess up just try to get back up and start again. When I get upset and "quit" it's not really quitting, it's stopping til next time I get fed up, so not again!!

It wasn't really a good month for me personally, to say the least, but the fact that I managed to lose 4 or 5 pounds anyway gives me hope that I can continue in the right direction. emoticon

So far so good - it's amazing what one month can do. If you had asked me in December if I could lose 8 pounds in one month I would have said NO. If you had asked me to watch my portions and count calories I would have said there is not enough time. I am surprised at how far I have come - and I see more changes on the horizon. I have just begun to really focus on the fitness portion of this (the first three weeks I worked out when I could but focused on nutrition, now I am really making an effort at working out at least 3 times per week and am working up to exercising 5-6 days a week). I have discovered that I do have more time than I realized and taking care of me is important if I want to be able to take care of my family!

I agree it is surprising what a month will do, I have not been perfect, but I will succeed. We all will succeed with each others help! emoticon

So far, so good! It hasn't been perfect, but I've learned so much and my lifestyle has changed drastically.

I am amazed at how much better I feel after only a month. I tend to obsess about numbers, so I haven't been on the scale yet. I'm going to weigh tomorrow morning. I'm excited about it. My clothes are fitting much better and my skin is looking really good from all the water I'm drinking!

Congrats to all of us who have worked hard through the first month to make changes! I feel really good about January. I lost 7 pounds, conpleted the 28 Day Bootcamp Challenge, and am much more aware of my physical activity and eating patterns. I can't wait to see what February brings!

Well my 1 month anniversary is on the 1st and I think I am doing ok. Last week was a tough one so I ordered Chinese Food with my boyfriend and have been eating left overs this week. I have been trying to keep my calories within range but even so, knowing how bad what I have been eating is made me feel guilty. Other than that I have been doing pretty good. I'm doing this slow and steady - less than a pound a week makes it seem more manageable day to day. I don't own a scale so I will be weighing in at the gym today. I have only been weighing in about every two weeks, so I am nervous to see how I am doing in that regard.

Other than that I am looking forward to committing myself to the next month and hoping to get closer and closer to my ultimate goal!

Well we've made through the first month!!

I'm still processing everything and thinking it out, so I'll put my update up tomorrow probably, but....how is everyone doing????
