I have been trying to reduce my sugar intake drastically and so I let myself run out of chocolate, my weakness. And I have yet to buy more!

No matter how many times I've failed, I still keep coming back.

I'm getting stronger everyday. I'm proud of my accomplishments, being healthy & fit. The gym is my therapy. As soon as I go inside, headphones on, world-Off & it's playtime! I'm in my best shape now than in my 30s & 20s. It's great to be a healthy Geek!

I definitely can tell when I eat crappy foods that I have less energy and more brain fatigue/brain fog. Even though I still slip up into binge days, I am really starting to notice the difference, which I hope will help motivate me and boost my will power when binge craves come up.

So, I've been busy working on getting ready to have weight loss surgery. The most important thing to me about weight loss is not the numbers on the scale or on the tag in my clothing. It's all about what I can do and how I feel - what some call 'non-scale victories".

I'm really happy that I feel better since I am eating better. I'm really happy that my skin looks a heck of a lot better since I don't drink sweet drinks or caffeine. I'm happy that I can move better because I weigh less already.

So what are your non-scale victories (NSVs) ?
