Got in all my workouts this week. Week 2. We ate out a couple of days as had to be to far from home to cook. Took my BS as ordered and they have been good but going low. Trying to adjust insulin to keep them from going to low. Made a GF homemade Mac And Cheese and added some tomatoes to it. Also cooked homemade burgers that I had without bread and with vegetables. Cleaned out two cupboards and got rid of temptations.

Day 8 for me again. Wt 270.4. Ate out in the Golden Corral and stayed with in my carbs. Had green beans, roasted onions, peppers with soft cooked egg. Will be doing cardio and strength training soon.

Day 8: Here we are! I don't see many people here but I am. I kind of fell off the wagon in week 1, day 5. My son is in the hospital - had a bad accident. Looks like he is going to be there for a week or so.
I realize I have to take care of myself if I'm going to help him!! So. . .
Day 8: Feeling good!

Goals for the Challenge:
I will lose 10 lbs in the next 8 weeks.
I will check my my blood sugars 4x daily.
I will take my insulin 1/2 hour before meals and at bedtime as ordered.
I will track my food and exercise daily.
I will lower my A1C by at least 1 point from 8.6 to 7.6 or less.
I will help my body prevent further diabetic complications and lessen the effect of present onesGoals for the Challenge:
